We bought an AAW door at Competitive Door in Hesperia for a room addition in November 2019. It's February and the door is cracked (very big cracks) in 3 places. Their quality is non-existent and so far the dealer refuses to help us at all. I want to let everyone know what type of junk this company is selling. Update: They have denied us warranty service because the door (which is part of a new addition) does not yet have an overhang.

I just talked to another poor consumer of one of their doors that was denied warranty service because (if you can believe this) their door was installed on a "south facing" door. Apparently they don't warranty any doors installed facing south. This is completely unacceptable. Would give minus stars if I could.

Purchased a "Composite" front entry door from one of their vendors at the end of 2019 and waited over a month and a half to get the door due to patent issues on their side. The door has been installed in a completely remodeled home and after 6 months completely fell apart. The door no more closes properly, damaged the Yael lock. After speaking to Ted I was informed that they are sorry but the door has been disconnected due to this types of issues and they are willing to refund the cost of the door only!.

The company knew that the doors a defective and never issued a recall or notified the customers. They expect me to bear the cost of removal, re-installation, fix tiles that will probably break around the door, and fix the drywall because the door has a modern finish where the drywall goes inside the jam. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this manufacture, spend a bit more and a different door because their customer service is the worst and they don't stand behind their product. It's cheap imported quality. I know I will never purchase anything from them.

Terrible customer service! We give this company so much business and you think they would make "customer service" their #1 priority as we keep their business running, but NOPE! Day after day ive been told "tomorrow " but for some reason they fail to deliver. Time to do some research for those who are willing to spend their money on a company who puts their CUSTOMERS 1st!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible SEE YOU AT THE COURT! STAY AWAY From this company. Their product quality is very bad and they don't honor their warranty. Taking them to the Court to get My Money and Damages. My 3 brand new Exterior doors got cracked and crooked after two months. All 3 Doors got the same exact problem. The Owner of the company is crook and is giving me none sense excuses. Warranty Department is Ignoring your calls and Put you on hold for 1 hour till you get tired. They do not pick up the phone by seeing your caller ID Very unorganized and irresponsible. I wish I could Shut their Business down Completely.

DO NOT buy a door made by AAW doors, you will be sorry. The doors fall apart in no time and the company will give you the run around and ultimately deny your claim. My $3000 door warped and came apart at the seams within a few months of installation.

This company is horrible, do not buy from them. They sell junk doors and do not honor their warranty. I ordered double entry doors from them and they started to split apart 30 days after install. The doors are so warped they can't be repaired. They used google street view to claim the home didn't have adequate overhang above the door. I sent pictures with a tape measure showing that it exceeds their minimum requirements. They ignore my emails and my phone calls. Horrible customer service.

The $1,600 front double-doors started to crack within six months. Keep in mind that a bare wood front door costs you about $4,000 when prepped, stained, and hung. AAW gave me the run-around and was just a major pain to deal with on every level. I eventually gave up. If you have a warranty claim with them my advice is to just don't bother calling them. They will put you into voice mail hell. It will go nowhere. Carma? I don't know. They seem to have been getting by with their low quality doors for a long time.

As a Sub Distributor of this product I must regretfully confess that the service and assistance when gathering Intel or handling claims is less than humane and efficient. I have Been a Re-source for this company and its product, i am currently trying to settle customer disputes with them and sympathize for any other distributors who are experiencing the same stresses.

Until things are settled I will continue to recommend other providers. Hopefully things will be different in the future ventures of this corporation and their interactions with companies but for now i recommend going another route when comes to making you home wishes and dreams a reality. I have other resources for recommendation to any one who is needing assistance. ( Julian G @ Builders Outlet )

AAW HAS GREAT DOORS AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE. Just dont set your expectations to high and you will be fine. I started buying their door over 30 years ago a sold thousands of them. The trick is to put an awesome finish on it.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING MANUFACTURED BY THIS COMPANY! They are rude and do not honor their warrant or stand by their product. I purchased a door from them and after two months it began to fall apart. I sent numerous pictures, emails, etc. and they haven't done anything. It's been over 6 weeks. They put the blame on the retailer (Urban Doors), the retailer tells me they are waiting on the manufacturer. I'm the one stuck with an ugly front door on a brand new home. STAY AWAY FROM AAW. They product stinks, they are rude and they don'd honor their warranty.
