Garage door cable snapped, needed replaced. Sent a message Sunday evening and they had a tech out by the next morning to replace. The tech also repaired a few other parts that needed it. Very easy to work with. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Toby the scheduler and the crews are great to work with and are very good at walking into chaotic construction projects and getting their work done which usually means making the building secure. They did my doors at home too which are beautiful."

Placed order and deposit Nov. 18. Told a 6 to 8 week delivery. Checked in 8 weeks and was told they forgot to place the order. Oh yeah, it would now cost an additional $900. Most incompetent business I have ever dealt with.

Decided to use Aker on a referral from a close friend who had a great experience. Sales guy Mike eagerly came out, we signed and paid half in August 2021 and were told install would be approximately week of Thanksgiving. Never heard anything from that point until I sent MULTIPLE emails and made MULTIPLE phone calls and did a website inquiry, trying to get an update.

Finally I get ahold of the install scheduler Toby (Dec 16th so much past Thanksgiving) who tells me the doors will not arrive until second week of January. Same day sales guy Mike who has never responded to emails, replies to my website inquiry and tells me the same thing and also how I should be comforted because had I not ordered in August, the doors would be $525 more. Doors finally arrive and get installed Jan 12th.

The installer does the 5 hour job and leaves without telling us he was finished, letting us inspect the work, or making final payment. 5 days later we get a final invoice for the remaining balance owed by email. Funny how they can send a bill to my email address but never respond to me asking where my doors are! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are quick to make a sale, but don't care if you have questions or are satisfied with the work.

Our 20 year open died during the cold snap. I called over 10 garage door companies about getting the opener replaced - gave existing model and size of door -- they were the only ones to quote over the phone and came out the next day for install -- hundreds $$ cheaper than all others I called -- they are upfront and try to pretend they possess some secret knowledge that can only be revealed by sending a tech on site and discussing options.

As a technical person and internet savvy, I appreciate honest and straight forward communication. They were knowledgeable and listened and provided a quality solution that was extremely affordable and timely install. Head and shoulders above their competition

Have been a customer for over 30 years. I have bought 8 doors to replace existing, or installed in new construction on 4 different homes. Always top notch products, installers and service.

Our garage door wasn't functioning. I was referred to Aker Doors. And we are happy we were! I spoke with Leslie on the phone and before they sent a tech to help us, she mentioned a few things we could try on our own to see if we could fix the problem. We could not. Our tech came out quickly and fixed the problem for a fair price. We will be recommending Aker Doors to any friends/family that ask!

My husband and I called Aker Door for an estimate on replacing our garage door. We promptly received a call back. They came the next day took measurements and gave us 2 catalogs to choose our new garage door. From this point on customer service was non-existent. We called and gave the representative our choice of a garage door and was told we would receive our estimate by the end of the day or by the next day.

No one ever called. We tried 2 additional times to get a call back with an estimate. No call was received so we went with a different company. We have a beautiful new garage door and received top notch service from a different company. To this day (over a month layer) we have still never received a call back from Aker Door.

Love this company! We have worked with Aker for over 20 years since they installed our garage door in 1999. Leslie is always very helpful to troubleshoot from home. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great service today. Deb in the business office was friendly and helpful. Overall, would recommend to anyone, anytime!

I needed emergency service and they came right out, completed the job quickly and professionally for a fair price. They were used by my builder back in the 90's and are still doing great work! I would highly recommend them to anyone and they continue to be the only company I will work with

They installed 2 top of the line openers in our new house 3 years ago, still working great. They were great to communicate with, showed up on time, got the work done efficiently, and the fees were reasonable. I always recommend them to friends.

I am very happy with the outcome of the repair we had requested. Our garage door mechanisms had failed on one side leaving the other side to become jammed and terribly bent when we had tried to open it. Steve was prompt, courteous, and explained everything to me very clearly and kindly. He did an excellent job and our garage door is in better shape now than it was before it had failed.

Doors were fine but they used low quality (cheap) hardware which doesn't hold doors in place. Problems with it over and over again. Called them out but still no fix. Don't seem to concerned with doing a good job.
