DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In August of last year, I bought $6K worth of automatic blinds for 6 windows. It was several months of delay, which was expected due to covid for install. They were in October, and when they were here, advised me that one of the large windows the blind hit the side of the window, so could not close all they way. They recommended that the side of window be sanded down.

Post leaving, I had a contractor and also a professional painter come and they both advised that this was not possible due to the walls had steel and could not be sanded. This is when all the issues started with Arizona Blinds. They have NO customer service post installation. They refused to send out the installer to adjust the blind, a simple adjustment for a trained installer.

To find out, Arizona blinds contracts out their installation and take no responsibility for them. i paid AZ Blinds for material and installation and was never advised it was an outside party. The installer owner Cindi would not have her installer come back out since they wanted to be paid for the visit and AZ Blinds would not pay them. It was obvious there was an issue between these companies, and I was the unfortunate one with blinds that do not close properly. AZ blinds do not answer their phones, the sales rep did not respond nor the owner who I sent emails and made several calls.

The VP of operations told me her hands are tied. Seriously, this is customer service for a very large install that cost us a lot of money? In the end, I have a large picture window with an improper install and no resolve from AZ Blinds.

If I could give them a Zero, I would! Have been in contact with office girl, who gave me number for Mike the owner. Couldn't leave him a message since it was full and stated to text him. I did, multiple times explaining I just need an install date, since they are over the 20wks of installation. He never texted me back, I call the company today, and the phone is disconnected, then tried Mike, and that number has also been disconnected! Luckily I put the down on my American Express, put in a disputed claim, stating the company went out of business without receiving my product. They have credit my account already!

"Phoenix couple says shutter company took money without delivering products" Azfamily.com investigating. This company looks like bad news. Really bad news.

Save yourself a headache and go to another company for shutters. This company is unethical. They advertise, and send out sales people, to promote their O'Hair shutters, only to switch them out after you paid for O'Hair shutters, and give you shutters made in their installers garage. When I called the VP of operations, Mehgan Dawson, on their bait and switch scheme then this was her response to me.

Nice way to treat a valued customer who believed their sales person and laid down over $2k in deposit, which has not been refunded, which she said she would do more than 2 weeks ago. BTW.deposit was made in July with email promise of delivery of O'HAIR shutters by sept 3. When delivery did not happen then I started to question the sales person who referred me to VP Dawson. Installer came out, told me he had not "bought the wood yet" and could not deliver by 9/3/21.

Call to Mehgan was convoluted and I had to pin her down with several email questions to finally find out that what I paid for was not O'HAIR shutters at all, but rather something made in their local factory. Then she blamed all this on an incompetent sales person. So, save yourself a headache and go to another company.

My shutters are BEAUTIFUL! The wait was sooo worth it. First I saw my neighbors shutters come installed before mine and I was so jealous. I kept hearing, "TRUST ME WAIT FOR ARIZONA BLINDS SHUTTERS THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL" So I did amd im so happy. My neighbors are nice but you can tell in one of them that it looks plastic and the other is flimsy wood, probably from China they don't know.

I'm so happy I waited for these beauties! I highly recommend Arizona Blinds and team for the most beautiful shutters and awesome customer service. Thank you to Meghan, Suzannah. Tina, and Kimberley for keeping me up to date and every time I called you'd call me back if you missed me or when I had any queries you helped right away. My sales rep was nice too, very helpful in recommending. She's gone from the company now but was good.

Updated review: 08/31/2021 eight months later and they finally came to install my shutters. They confirmed with me that they would be installing them on 09/07/2021 but randomly dropped by today (a week prior to appointment) to install them. I wasn't home and my stepdad let themIn to install them. They look like they used raw wood and spray painted it in a sandstorm then brought them directly to me.

My geriatric grandfather could of literally Done a better a job a trained monkey could have done a better job. I'm so disappointed that I have to start all over trying to find a new dependable shutter place to do a job I paid this company to do 8 months ago. Here's a few pics of the brand new custom shutters installed today.

A quick generic comment before my review: We live in a very unique time. Businesses, especially small businesses, have had to deal with pandemic circumstances never faced before. Stores closed months on end. Employees paid more on unemployment than they can make working. Supply chain shortages of both new gear and repair parts. Customers not always understanding, or worse, not caring.

Small local businesses often lack the resources necessary to provide the same level of services that they did before Covid hit. Review: We initially were not impressed By AZ Blinds. The person (no longer there) we were dealing with was not responsive and her follow thru was poor. After a couple of false starts, we reached out to their VP of Operations, Meghan.

She was amazing. She listened to our concerns, returned our calls and emails and assigned a dedicated person, Kimberley to us. Kimberley and another employee, Tina, have been so helpful, and we are very satisfied. Bottom Line: Most businesses we all deal with do a good job when it comes to customer service. That's how they grow and stay in business. I've found that it's how they handle things when there's an issue, that really shows who they are. Props to AZ Blinds, Meghan, Kimberley and Tina. You are most appreciated.

I'm very happy with the quality of my custom shutters. However, this 1 Star review is all about Arizona Blinds, the company. My order for custom shutters was finalized on Nov 4, 2020. At that time, I was given a 10-week timeline for installation. My shutters were installed on April 22, 2021. That's 24 weeks and 1 day after finalizing the order. Between Week 10 and Week 24, My install date was rescheduled on 4 occasions.

At no point during the process did they ever reach out to me though. Every time the install date would come up, I'd email asking if it was on track, and then a day or two later I'd get a response with a new date. They only began reaching out after I filed a complaint with BBB (funny how that works). After the 3rd reschedule, I started ask about a refund, to which I was given a rambling response from their VP of Operations about profit margins and business models.

I understand that COVID is making life hard for these guys, but at some point you've got to either figure it out or at least stop lying to your customers about timelines until you figure it out. I spoke with another shutter company in the valley during the wait, and they were still meeting a 10-12 week install timeline. They might not have been the Cadillac of Custom Shutters, but I still would have taken 12 weeks with no headaches over 24 weeks dealing with Ms. VP of Operations.

Had someone come out to give us a quote. She seemed nice, very polite. Walked around did some measurements. She was really pushing all wood blinds and stay away from composite etc. I was fine with that. Then, she went astray. She knew we were getting a few quotes and said to be sure we only go with a company that is American made, like them. She stated that many of the other companies use shutters from "China or Mexico".

She said "the last thing anyone wants is something from China". That was the end of our visit and we won't be buying with Arizona Blinds, Shutters and Drapery. Sometimes when you try to give the hard sell, you end up talking too much and out your bottom.

The saleswoman Tracy was great - she was friendly and knew her stuff when it comes to blinds and shutters. The product that we ordered seemed reasonably priced. However, when I got my blinds installed, it did not go well the first time. A valance had a huge crack on it, one set of blinds came with a dirty cord, and one set of blinds did not tilt one way at all.

It took awhile to get product the first time, understandably because of the pandemic. However, it took so long to get the replacement items shipped in so that they can be installed. The customer service was really lacking - it was hit or miss in terms of getting calls or emails back. A bunch of voice mails were left and no call back. Return emails were sometimes timely, but it was often hard to get someone live to talk to on the phone during normal business hours!

This home improvement project dragged out for over two months! The customer service and the long wait time were the most frustrating parts of this whole process. I don't think I would use this company again to replace the rest of my blinds! Beware of nonresponsive customer service!

I contracted with Arizona Blinds, Shutters and Draperies for shutters for three windows in my home on May 11, 2020 and l paid 70% of the cost upfront. $2033.00. I was told there would be a 1 - 10 week construction time. I called in the middle of July for an installation date and was told " it would be delayed because "there was a covid outbreak in their shop in Texas".

I understood. I called in the middle of August for an installation date and was told" it would be delayed because there was a covid outbreak in their shop in Texas". Same story as July. I asked for a new installation date and was told September 16, 2020. I called that week and was told there was a delay. At that time I told them to cancel the order and refund my money.

The lady I was speaking with told me she could not handle that and transferred me to another lady. She told me she would expedite my order over other people and have them installed the first week of October. I called on October 5, 2020 and was told it would be October 20, 2020. They were installed on that date by very polite and profession young men.

They were independent contractors. That was the only good experience I have gotten from this company. They lack good communication skills, they said they sent me numerous E mails but I never recevied one. I had one phone call from them in the last four months. I would suggest that if you choose to purchase any products from Arizona Blinds that you have them agree that there will be a $50.00 penalty for every day they do not meet the install date. I like my shutters but did not enjoy the high level of frustration, anxiety, and deceit over the past few months.

I am so thrilled with my new shutters! They are absolutely gorgeous. I've had them in for about a week and I am really enjoying the ambiance they have brought to each room. I have stain in my office to match my desk furniture and it looks and feels so classy. I have a farmhouse look in my kitchen and dining so the white with the texture look matches my style exactly.

My sales gal did such a good job recommending these options and the install was well with the wait! Next I'm doing some soft shades she recommended for my upcoming remodeled bathroom as well as film for the back of the house. I can't say enough I'm just so excited it feels good to know you made the right decisions all the way around. I'll be referring Arizona Blinds to all my friends and neighbors!

Arizona Blinds are wonderful. Great service, and wonderful people. Even during a pandemic, the service was phenomenal. Because of the lock downs around the country, our order was on hold for a while but they kept updating us on the status of everything. My husband and I really appreciate those updates. The installation of the window treatment and blinds were quick and easy. Mehgan, Cathi, Tracy, Kevin, Sean and the other two gentlemen were with Kevin and Sean (I'm sorry I can't remember their names), you guys are outstanding. Friendly and professional. Thank you so much for the fantastic service.

Arizona Blinds is wonderful! From my first contact to final follow-up, they have been professional and shown concern that I am happy with our purchase. We are very happy. The pros that came to measure and take the order were prompt and expedient in doing their job. Installation was a breeze. Two young men came in and quickly did their job. A follow-up email and call were made to make sure any concerns were addressed. I would call them again if I needed more blinds!
