Solution: Call Coast Garage Door - your spring should be replaced - if you have to springs both should be replaced as they have gone up and down the same number of times and the other may break in the near future. Solution: Replace the worn rollers - recommend servicing entire door, lubricating door parts.
Average lifespan of 8 - 10 years can be expected, although there are operators out there which last as little as 5 years yet as long as 25 years (or more!). If your operator is getting old, consider replacing it with an up-to-date machine with all the latest safety features. New openers now offer upgrades such as a battery backup system in case of a power outage, and remote accessories that can tell you if your garage door has been left open, or opened while you are away.If a four-function Wall Console is being used, make sure the Vacation Switch is in the "UNLOCKED" position.
A garage door is the largest moving object in your home, and because of the large number of parts, installation of a garage door is highly technical. Connecting the springs can be particularly dangerous, especially without the proper tools and proper installation is critical to the performance of your door.

Easy doesn't really explain how my experience went. From office to install was a breeze. My questions were answered. They even sent me a video to answer my question on operational noise. They even installed my new opener while I was at work. The app was easy to set up. It even lets you name your garage.yes, I have my own Batcave My silliness aside, just a great experience

Called Coast Garage Door first thing this morning. My car was being held hostage in my garage by a broken spring and broken cables that snapped as I closed the door last night. They sent out help I'd say in about an hour after I called. The tech (who was very nice, polite and knowledgeable, the kind of employee any company would be proud of) looked at the problem, went back and got what was needed, went to work, solved the problem, freed my car and now my garage door opens and closes again. The cost was more than reasonable and I will recommend this company to anyone in need of garage door work, this company is awesome! Thank you!

Garage door spring broke today (pretty crazy when they break) Called coast and 40 minutes later Scott came to our house to check the door out. He said he would return soon and fix it. He did just that. Unreal service! Scott finished the job quickly and very professionally. Coast is lucky to have him. If you need garage door service just call Coast and maybe you will get Scott. Their office person is awesome also.

Lots of kudos to the team at Coastal! They did a great job through customer service from Linda at the office (Thanks bunch!), to Peter the technician. Peter did a great job diagnosing the problem with our garage door! Additionally, he was very helpful in educating me in garage door care, and in answering some general questions about the topic. I generally do not write reviews. The quality of service warrants a review in this case, however. We had an inoperative garage door in Manzanita that had multiple problems including rusted/broken parts and bad rigging. We needed the garage to be available on short notice for storage of roofing materials until the roofer could get good weather to put the roof on. Scheduling the repair was easy and the tech, Joel was a pleasure to work with. He had the door working perfectly in less than an hour, and the cost was very reasonable. It is nice to find a business that does things right!
