The story of Colorado Window & Siding Inc. (CWSI) started in 1983 when my parents, Bob and Diana Zimmermann, my brother Jason, and I moved from Michigan to Littleton, CO. With $2,000.00 in savings on arrival in Denver, Diana got employment with Martin Marietta, Bob started pounding the pavement door to door looking for customers for our new company, and my brother and I started school.
Colorado Window and Siding is proud to offer the Weather Shield line of wood windows. With a wide range of products, sizes, options and price points, Weather Shield is a leading manufacture of elegantly designed, energy efficient wood windows. Several products in our Weather Shield line are Energy Star qualifying, allowing you to take advantage of the Federal Energy Tax Credit.
Charter Oak siding receives it basic strength and weather resistance from PureStrength PVC resin. It prevents moisture infiltration from rain and humidity, so panels will not rot, warp, shrink or swell. The result is low-cost, easy-care maintenance. While I believe the work Colorado Window & Siding did ended up being completed well in the end, their process and customer service did nothing to make me think I shouldn't have just bought at Home Depot. Only wanted to sell new windows. Could not help with a repair. Slow to respond. Quick to want you to sign contracts and pay. Slow to get you scheduled. Would not use again.

Great experience working with Scott at Colorado Window and siding. We replaced all the siding and windows in our house. Scott spent all the time with us we needed. Showed us a lot of window options and helped narrow down the choice to a quality window that looked and worked great and met our budget. There are a lot of window options out there and it can be overwhelming trying to compare one to the other. Scott helped us make the right decision for us.
The crews were great to work with, respectful of our house and property, arrived when they said they would and asked questions about anything that came up. The quality of their work was fantastic. I will definitely refer them to anyone looking for windows or siding.

We have used Colorado Window and Siding twice - The first time in 2008 to replace nine windows and then again this past fall to replace more windows and siding. Our house was built in 1962 and the windows and siding were original to the home. Scott sure knows his products! He measured and provided a quote on the spot. The window crew and the siding crew were excellent and thoroughly professional with their work.
As a few issues arose (torn screen, missing door knob), Scott followed up and resolved the issue. The siding crew was efficient, kept the site clean and showed flexibility by coming back this spring to finish the job when, due to a remodel, we held off on part of the job. We won't new siding or windows again soon, but would recommend to others looking for more efficient windows or replacing old siding.

I have been working with this company for years, first replacing old windows a few at a time until all windows (30) finally replaced. A couple of years ago, they replaced the siding on my 2 story home with cement board siding and some fancier shingles. Loved the end result and have recommended this company to others. Won't use anyone else for these types of projects. Scott is a pleasure to work with and very dedicated and customer focused. Plan on doing work at my daughter's house with Scott. Great company.

I replaced ALL the windows in my 1971 house with Colorado Window & Siding. They allowed me to do it gradually and returned whenever I needed tweaks or repairs. That was over twenty years ago. Yesterday, after over 20 years, I needed repairs on my sun room windows and sliding glass door--which took two arms and total body weight to open and close. Scott sent out Crystal Clear to do the job and now I can slide the door with one hand!
The windows are sealed again and the house as snug as when I first bought them. Not only was the workmanship great, Scott picked up the tab! Our house was badly damaged last year in a hail storm, and many of our windows needed to be replaced. Scott came out within 4 days of our call, and we had an estimate very quickly. He worked with us to find windows that our HOA would approve, and we had new custom windows installed in 3 weeks. (Many of our neighbors waited more than 3 months for replacement window.) All of the staff we worked with were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We'll use them again if need be.

I am a repeat customer of Colorado Window & Siding. Scott is friendly and professional (no-nonsense and sales push). A couple of years ago, I had a number of very large windows to replace (including a large unit made of 5 panels). Colorado Windows & Siding gave me a fair estimate, and scheduled the work promptly. The crew was very professional, courteous and clean.
I just had additional windows replaced by Colorado Window and Siding, using the same crew as 2 years ago (Joel). We are very happy. BTW- Scott's bids was significantly lower than "recognized" name like Pella and Anderson.
