We ordered a new garage door from Compaan who has serviced our previous door since we owned the home. The new door was from Pro Mfg and was glass & metal. It is a gorgeous door, but had some challenges: 1. Lead times were way beyond what was quoted - thanks covid and supply chain issues; 2. Door seemed to be a new version of their existing door. This created some challenges on struts and such.
The Compaan Team stuck by it from beginning to end. We just finished a couple of weeks ago with the installation, retrofits and final tweaks. We are very happy with the door and Compaan.

I heard a strange sound in my garage and went out to see what it could be. My garage door would not open. It was late and I called Compaan Door & Operator in the morning. They sent Jared out to replace the spring. He was friendly and did a good job. I would definitely recommend Compaan Door for any garage door problems one might have.

Our spring broke on our garage door after over 15 years of working fine. I received an estimate of $745 (being recommended that I needed 2 spring at $225 each (part only), which I thought was ridiculous. I was charged a $75 trip charge to find out what I already knew. I needed a new spring. Campaan Garage door came out a replaced the spring including labor for $225. Our door works just fine for less than 1/3 of the price from Precision Garage Door. Need I say more?

Compaan Door is a great company. I found them to be very professional and ready to try their best to accommodate my schedule and garage door needs. They were helpful in letting me understand the best solution for the problem I was having at my property. Compaan Door is competitive in their pricing. I will call them again if the need arises.

I checked a few prices between the major stores like Home Depot and Compaan. Compaan came in at a cheaper price. At no fault of their own, time lines were delayed because of Covid and the manufactures of the doors. The crew that installed the doors were quick and professional. Took care with my items that they had to move around my garage and didn't mind the hassle of shuffling cars and other things around to make the job work.
My only negative thing was communication. They said that they would be in contact and gave me a estimated 4-5 week time line for the doors to arrive. I called a couple of times, very profession and courteous on the phone, but if I didn't call I wasn't getting any updates. Like the delay and missing parts shipped from the manufacturer that extended my timeline. Door are great, crew was quick, and over all a good experience.

The spring in my garage door broke so I contacted two companies for quotes. This one got back to me super fast, gave me a lower quote and was able to schedule the service for the following day. Everything was great, the repair person was on time, professional and fast. I was billed for the same price as I was quoted. I would definitely use this company again.

I'm writing this review mostly to offer a clarifying account that is different than the other 1/5 stars the other reviewer gave in 2016. I'm offering four stars because I doubt any business would ever be perfect enough to get five from me. The other reviewer's comments say more about her than they do about this company. We have to be informed customers.
If she is doing all this work by herself, she likely doesn't know the right questions to ask in the first place. The confusion she is describing sounds more like she is missing a good, reliable general contractor. I had a good experience with Compaan. Any of the miscommunication I experienced was 4/5 my failure to know what questions to ask.

You guys are AWESOME! My garage door spring bracket & one of the cables broke last night and you came first thing this morning to fix it so that I could get out and get to work. And of course fix the door. I can't thank you enough for your promptness in getting to me and getting the door fixed. Thank you!
