Bo was a pleasure to work with. Responsible, on time, reasonably priced. He sound-proofed some rooms in our home by changing hollow-core doors to solid ones. He further reduced sound by using weather striping around the frame and made a fantastic saddle to stop sound from coming under the doors. We highly recommend him.

Very rude when called for information. Like I was bothering him because I didn't know how to fix my own door. If you like rude service but need something fixed. have at it. The quality of customer service has went down that we accept this kind of behavior and attitude as ok. It's not.

Bo did an excellent job with our door. Our house is nearly 100 years old, and it has settled in a way that makes parts of our house start to resemble a Dr. Seuss house. This made the doorway very complicated, but he was very thorough in his measurements and customized our new door to fit just right. His prices are very fair, he is very honest, and he does incredible work. Highly recommended!

Bo did an incredible job finding and installing a replacement glass panel for our large front door. Glass had been shattered by rock flying from lawn equipment and after researching, we realized it would be cheaper to replace the beautiful glass rather than get a brand new, uglier door of this size. The only problem is that we tried two other companies before Bo and wasted over a month with them.

The first company hemmed and hawed for weeks only to tell us that they weren't qualified. The second handyman, recommended by Home Depot, came by and never got back to us after that to talk about quotes and installation. Bo was prompt in responding and gave me a realistic and honest quote of what needed to be done and how long it would take. Would absolutely recommend and use him again with any future door needs!

Bo installed a vintage, glass paneled oak door in our house. He came highly recommended and exceeded even those expectations! He stopped by and gave us a very reasonable quote, and a timeline of when he would be able to complete the job. He installed the door in a morning, making it look very easy, even though the jamb was old and required several careful cuts to make it fit. Professional service and excellent results. I had two doors that needed replacing. After reading reviews and asking around The Door Man was always the one they would start with. He gave me a quote and was in contact all the way through the process. Use the cell as a point of contact there was a problem with my email connecting. He was thorough and had to custom fit one of the doors. It looks and works perfectly. He knows exactly what to do to make it fit and hang well. He gave options for hardware and gets as well. The whole process was smooth and easy.

Bo McCarthy installed eight interior doors for us. He and his assistant were efficient, on time, and affordable. I would call upon his services in the future.

Called the Door Man because I needed someone to hang and install a vintage exterior door in my house, and to switch the door from outward to inward-swinging. Installing old doors is probably complicated, and that's why I called a pro with "experience hanging 6000 doors" (which is a rate of 1 door per day for 16.44 years). After I explained to Bo what I needed and asked him if he thought it was possible and what it might cost, he started with, "Look, I don't want to be rude." and then, as expected, finished by being rude.

The whole conversation was awkward, and Bo made me feel ashamed, like I didn't know what I was talking about and should never have called him in the first place. Not sure what all the hype on Google Reviews is about since our first conversation went so poorly.

Had a great experience with Bo The Doorman. He replaced the sliding glass doors in our master bedroom with beautiful new French doors. He was professional and reasonable. We plan on using him to replace other doors in the near future.
