Doors By Russ

We had Doors by Russ put in our garage door 18 years ago. As with most garage doors, they need tweaking and aligning every few years. We've had Mike come over a couple of times now over the last few years and he has been fantastic. Very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is working perfectly. If we ever have to install another garage door, it will be through this company.

We has an issue with our garage door torsion spring and Doors By Russ was able to have Mike out to fix the issue the same morning. Mike did a great job and was also able to address a few other items (key pad, etc.) while on the job. Highly recommended for fast and friendly service.

We've used Doors by Russ on a few occasions and have always been pleased with the results. When an emergency arises, they usually respond within a few hours and work to get someone out to our home as soon as possible. Would recommend to anyone that needs garage door assistance.

Josh was responsive to communication and upfront about the timeline, given the current situation. Installer showed up early on a Saturday morning and was helpful and courteous during the process.

They were great to work with from start to finish, and I absolutely love the garage door and opener. I only gave a reduction in stars because the color of the garage door doesn't match my home. When my original garage was serviced by Doors by Russ, I requested color samples for a new garage to match my trim. The color I chose according to the samples provided was a perfect match. The estimate provided by Doors by Russ was also a perfect match, but the finished product was more of a yellow tone. Most likely I will have to paint my new door.

Mike was my repairman, and he was amazing! I called him in because the spring was broken, and I find myself wondering if he replaced the whole unit: after it was fixed, the operation was smoother and quieter than I ever remember it being. I'm not allowed to say what I paid for the repairs, but it was worth every penny!

Mike was efficient and had called ahead to let us know when he'd arrive. He adjusted the door and all the squeeky parts and then showed me what he'd done and the new piece that we had to have. It is great work and a reliable company. He is a good representative for Russ.

Gave us excellent service. On time and fair price. Explained new features on MyQ system. A+++

Mike was awesome and so efficient! I have never been so excited to get a new garage door before! It's so fancy! It tells the temperature inside the garage, gives me notifications when the door opens and closes, and it has a camera! It's so quiet I love it so much! I will definitely recommend this company again! We got our last garage door from them 20 years ago at was a great experience as well! Thank you so much!

DOORS BY RUSS serviced our garage door on 9/3/21. The technician was Joe. When I went to pick up groceries, the garage door wouldn't open. I disengaged the opener, door still wouldn't open. Called for assistance. Help from Russ arrived Within 2 hours. I could tell the technician resented that we wore masks. He went back to his truck to get his mask. Then, begrudgingly he asks, "I don't have to wear a mask in the garage?" Stated he's not vaccinated. He's had COVID twice.

And he's around his 81yo dad & his dad is fine. I will never call this company again, even though the response was timely & problem was resolved. $400 new springs. COVID-19 priceless.

We've used Doors by Russ on two separate occasions and both times they've been fantastic. Installers were prompt, courteous, and walked us through the set-up of both the garage door itself and the settings and features of the app. Great service!

Wonderful service! I had two new openers installed, cables replaced, and a keypad installed outside. Tim was friendly and got the job done in a couple hours. Highly recommend!

This has been a very easy process. Just ordered garage doors with them. They gave us a good quote which was fair. Dropped off color swatches and ordered the door. No drama very easy. I will update once the doors come in but so far it has been great

OMG- Doors by Russ is still amazing after 21 years. We built our home in 2000. Doors By Russ made our custom Solid cedar 8' X 22 ' door. We just had them out to replace the Chamberlin Garage door opener. We up graded to the 3/4 horse and were amazed at the new technology Dominic from doors by Russ helped develop. myQ app We love the new technology so much we are going to replace the other door opener this Summer. Your technician Andrew was prompt and completely understood what the issue was with my door. He explained what was needed and fixed the problem in a timely matter and at a fair price. Came out the next day to replace a broken garage door spring. I felt their rates were good and quality of work was excellent!

I had Doors by Russ install a high opening garage door and garage door opener this past summer. The owner told me that I would be calling him a few months later to want to install on my other garage door, and. he was right. Great work and very meticulous with where the wires were run. Had an issue this week 5 months since install, they adjusted the limit setting for no charge under warranty. Do not hesitate to call them for all your garage needs!

Doors by Russ did a fantastic job. Great same day service and Mike the technician was very helpful and professional. Will use them again for sure.

Delighted with the quick and professional install by Jim, who really knows his stuff. Pleased with the quality of the door and pricing was competitive with other quotes I received. Recommended, but minus one star for no follow-up call from them after installation to ask: "Are you happy and would you recommend us?"

Got home to broken cable and door stuck half way through. Called doors by Russ on my neighbor's recommendation. Called at 330pm. Mike was at my house at 4pm (mind you they close at 4). Mike fixed it all, with above and beyond service. He fixed many other small issues. A very friendly guy. Can't wait to recommend Mike to whoever needs a professional service.

Highly recommended! After 25 years, our garage door needed replacement. We got several quotes and Doors by Russ was the best price for a quality insulated door. The door was just installed and we are VERY pleased. The door is solid, the installation was done professionally, and the people at Doors by Russ are very friendly and helpful.

Called on Monday afternoon, and they were able to come out on Tuesday morning (I indicated that this is NOT an emergency). Tom called ahead and let me know he would be there at 8:00 a.m. and arrived exactly at 8:00. He completed the work (spring replacement) quickly and efficiently, and was very personable. The cost was exactly what was quoted on the phone the day before. Local business with great service at a fair price. What more can you ask for?

Spring broke at 7pm at night so I called Doors by Russ and left a voicemail. They had it fixed by 8am the next morning. Tech was courteous and kind. This isn't the first time we've used them, but definitely won't be the last. Thanks as always!

July 6 I had 8 foot high doors, one double and one single, replaced on my garage. The installer was knowledgeable, skillful and very pleasant. The price was more than competitive. I cannot Recommend this company highly enough. The doors are insulated, Solid, attractive, and just add a certain je ne sais quoi to the house.

Just had someone out here to fix a spring on our garage door. Of course this had to happen during Covid-19 pandemic but the employee kept his distance, was friendly and knowledgeable. Was also available as soon as we made the call. Would recommend Doors by Russ to everyone!

The BEST! The spring broke on one of our garage doors and they came the same day I called to repair it. Our repair guy Mike was awesome and fast! No hidden or extra cost. Plus he lubed all the rollers and bearings on both of our doors and reset the travel limits on both doors (not just the one he was paid to fixed). Highly recommend Doors By Russ.

The spring broke (loudly) on our garage door, and we obviously needed a quick repair. We left a message with another local company, but they never returned our call. "Doors by Russ" had someone in the office to take our call, and they put us on the list for the following day. They notified us the serviceman, Danny, was on the way, and he arrived within 30 minutes as promised. Danny was quite personable as well as knowledgeable about his job, and he finished installing the new spring in very short order. I was more than satisfied with the repair and the price was quite reasonable. I recommend "Doors by Russ" for garage door repair without reservation. (Thanks, Danny!)

Fantastic customer service! Shawn and John were extremely helpful and both very professional. They were on time, gave us a reminder call and worked officiantly, John even helped us program the new openers to our cars and iPhone apps. We knew what we wanted and Shawn was able to find it through their big selection of doors. We LOVE are new garage doors!

We see all of our neighbors almost come to a complete stop in the car just to look at them! Our curb appeal just went through the roof, they are worth every penny. Couldn't be happier! (See attached pictures)

Everyone we dealt with here was great. The top panel roller came off and a rail got bent along with a spring coming undone. I asked that we get a call to set up appt the next business day and they called bright and early and then had someone out here a few hrs later. We were told that it could fixed possibly that day! Nead less to say we were happy to hear that and again a bit later in the day it was fixed quickly.

We asked if we wanted to get a new door what it's cost would be and the price was very reasonable. We were then told if we ordered it within 30 days the cost to repair would be deducted from the price of new door. Didn't expect to hear that, every other company charged more. I will recommend to anyone they give Doors By Russ a call!

If you need anything done regarding a garage door, come to this provider. Best in town, best in area and can't be beat. After a disappointing service call with another provider, doors by Russ came in and saved the day. Don't be like me, call doors by Russ first.

A cable broke on my garage door on the coldest day of the year. I called and they arrived within s couple of hours and fixed the door in a very short amount of time and did a great job. I highly recommend them and thought their prices were fair but most importantly, they arrived quickly!

We've had issues with our door for a while now. Mike came out and within five minutes, told me what the problem, what he had to do to fix it, and what it would cost - practically to the dollar. My door is now quiet and smooth as silk!

Love these guys. First, I was not excited to get a new garage door. Who is? But, of all the dumb things you have to replace, this was actually pretty great. 1) the house looks better, my neighbor saw ours and got theirs replaced too. It's 50% of the front of the house so it's a meaningful improvement. 2) new garage door openers are better. It's quiet.

You can open it with an app (not that I do, but I could.) and the best is that it has auto lights so when I go in the garage at night the lights automatically turn on 3) these guys did a great job, made it easy, and it wasn't that expensive. Hearty recommendation.

Couldn't be happier. Called on Monday morning (after trying to get another company to fix my opener - they said it'd be an additional week to get a part). They found a way to fit me into the schedule and get my opener fixed. AND it was WAY cheaper than the other company. I would highly recommend them and will to anyone who needs service for garage doors or service.

HELP, my garage door has fallen and I can't get out. This company installed our garage door and when a spring broke they were out ASAP because they recognize that either the car is stuck in the garage or outside the garage and can't get in. So, the employee, Glen, was super nice and said they realize what an inconvenience this situation is and handled it quickly. Any garage door issues in the future will be directed to this company.
