Very nice sales person who did her job well. Their materials are high quality and the process is well thought out. However, this comes at a premium, custom cost. $18,000 $20,000 is just a tremendous amount of money to replace a brand new tile shower with composite walls and a frameless door shower. Of course, they are a for profit business, but too much $$$$ for my needs.

Got Hurricane Windows and Hurricane sliding doors installed in October 2018. Thought everything was great. Then came the nightmares. The caulk used on windows are molding and falling apart already and it's only 2022. We had a defective window installed that apparently any contractor should have noticed right away was bad (we were told that it should have never been installed in the first place).

My back window has apparently been leaking since the time of install and we didn't realize there was a leak before my drywall and base boards started rotting away! (we were told the leak happened because the installers did not seal the window up to code). I called the company in February of this year to get windows fixed (as soon as we noticed the leak).

They promised to reinstall a new window and seal the leaking window that was installed incorrectly plus fix the damages to my walls. I couldn't get an inspector to come until March (even though I called in February). Was told by inspector and customer service and the installation department that the longest it would take to order new windows is max 8 WEEKS to get a replacement.

Well guess what. ITS NOW JUNE way past 8 weeks and now they are telling me they don't know when they can fix my windows. Hurricane season has started. And all anyone does is give me a new story or hang up on me. The water damage is getting worse and worse. My drywall and baseboards under the window and the drywall around the window is rotting away and smells atrocious.

The rain has been so bad here that every day the damage gets worse and worse. This Hurricane season is making me incredibly nervous. We could have an entirely destroyed back wall before they are willing to come fix anything! BEWARE: FHIA has shoddy products and shoddy installers, and does not take accountability or follow through on their promises. All I can do is give you the advice that they are the worst company to deal with! Stay far a way!

Once they have your money your yesterday's news. They will not respond to phone calls, do not hold up on their word. They are too big for their own good. Stay clear. Find a company that cares AFTER the sale!

I used this company to replace every window and exterior door in my home to meet the South Florida hurricane codes. I am extremely pleased with the product and service I received. Every aspect of the doors, handles, and glass are excellent quality! It's a pretty big job but their teams go about it very professionally and keep the house extremely clean and free of dust.

Most recently, when I had a minor issue with the sliding doors being a little tough to slide, they sent out Joel Rodriguez, who took great pride in his work, and he removed the doors, adjusted the slides, and replaced them good as new. It was truly a great experience and I would highly recommend their products and services.

I contracted for an impact sliding door in Aug 2021. It is now May 2022 and the project is not complete. They have been out 2 times and missing parts. They keep ordering parts and I keep waiting. In a few weeks it will be 9 months.

I gave 1 star because it didn't allow me to give it a half a star! This place has no work culture what so ever. They don't appreciate good hard working employees. If you don't suck up to a boss you don't get anywhere. This workplace is a circus not sure if the Investors are aware that the President's wife shows up and bosses other employees around to help her pass out candy for a holiday, she buts in things work related she should not have people have to stop at her service to do what ever she is there to do seems as if she's on their payroll the way she throws down there it's quite amusing.

The communication with Managers there suck and all the employees walking on eggshells, you'll never know until the same day when you're going to get fired, they love to keep you hanging at the same pay for years but continue adding tasks to your job position and be careful asking for a raise that you'll never get. This place is a joke people running it have no clue what they're doing we are all slaves for the higher Executive companies.

They love to hire people with criminal records and low class people who would settle for minimum pay that destroy company property and not to mention the bathrooms and smudge fecal matter all over the walls toilet and paper towel dispensers ripped off the walls. FHIA isn't a healthy work environment they add stress to the employees and don't even care how overwhelmed they are.

I am glad I got out while I can. Good luck to those employed there who work their but off with multiple tasks and not even getting paid what any other place would pay. They love to slam people with work and multiple tasks and promotions with out the promotion $$. It was nice working there until it became so corporate the good people became poisoned by the money they're getting and forgetting about the faithful employees that actually got them where they are today and I am not sorry for leaving this review because they deserve it.

This is why they're not a 5 star company window and kitchen installers rush their jobs so many inspections fail wrong measurements happen all the time and wrong product ordered customers waiting a year for the product to arrive alone, there are more dissatisfied customers than satisfied customers. They're overworking their bathroom Managers that do way more than what they should and not getting paid for it either. It's really disgusting what they do to their employees. Nobody wants to work there people start then by the end of the week quit because they were told their task was one thing but it's a hole other ball game.

The do not offer any information regarding pricing. All estimates are done in-home. You will not get price ranges, "prices starting at $x", or any type of figures. What's the purpose of the questionnaire before the phone call if they have to come to the house any way? Also they have a lot of fake positive reviews, mainly from employees who commend the business as a good place to work.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! After ordering the windows, screens and doors with Nestor we were delayed multiple times and consistently told different reasons why. Nestor was helpful and was really the only helpful person during my entire experience. It became clear that excuses were being made when honestly would have resolved all concerns. After receiving some of the worst customer service for scheduling the installation I was told the day before installation that it was canceled because they didn't actually have the product.

This happened twice. When installation came I ran into a few structural damage issues that I had sorted out the same day and they were able to work with me but never finished. They left all my blinds off, didn't seal doors and window screw holes, didn't complete removing the shutter frames, didn't caulk the holes from the shutter frames they did remove, didn't tighten the lock mechanisms on doors or windows to locks just come off and the windows aren't seal properly.

They lied and said they forgot to bring the screens, then they needed a little more time, then the screen were wrong but honestly they weren't ordered. Since then it has been almost two months and they still haven't finished the install. The manager Jorge continues to ask us to schedule with the installer Raul for him to come only for him not to come.

Constant excuses. This is the second largest purchase of my life and one of the biggest lessons I will learn. This service is beyond bad and I'm already speaking with lawyer because I was asked to sign papers ensured that the job was done only for it to never end and not even have the full order. I have told two friends to definitely not work with you and they have much larger homes than us.

Salesman totally wasted my time to give an estimate on over $70,000 worth of impact windows. Would not put estimate in writing. Wanted to write a number down on a scratch pad and expected me to go along. I told him to leave and that no smart person would ever do business with a company that conducts business that way. Unbelievable that they are even in business. So unprofessional. Do not do business with them.

FHIA does not give up their greedy attitude and poor business acumen. The window installation that they did;for me was a disaster. The city of Bova Raton rejected the window because they used the wrong screws and the wrong jambs on the sliding doors! They had children of the workers on sight. They broke rule after rule and left me with a mess. Funny that today I got a flyer in the mail from them at my second home in Broward County!

It is sad that they are wasting paper, postage, and someome's time to send out these braggadocio ads. It probably is one of the worst job you will ever see and I have the pictures to prove it. Ruined plaster on the inside and outside walls, and clay patio tile, etc. I could go on and on. How they have a llicense is beyond me. When I see their advertising on TV it is nauseating.

I believe it is Ch. #10 that endorses their work. Greed and money is the name of the game. They would not have to advertise if they had integrity and remodeling prowess. Who are these people? They change their workers as fast as the complaints come in. Very sad scenario for the customers, and their money is out the window. Literally and figuratively.

We just had a meeting with our salesperson for impact windows and 3 sliders. We have a 2600 square ft. home. This has to be the shadiest company ever. No written estimate; it's like the salesman pull a quote out of his butt to the tune of $93,000. I can't even get angry at that estimate; it is so over the top, that it has got to be a joke. Waste of time, but had a good laugh.

We met with a representative who was very nice (Saturday). The price seemed high but we gave them a deposit. After reflecting on our decision and deciding the price was too high, we sent a cancellation notice via email with the signed forms cancelling the agreement (Sunday). We spoke to the sales rep that same day and he said it was "no problem" to cancel and that our credit card deposit would be returned.

We called the company Monday and informed them we wanted to cancel. We had to call them 8 (!) times and we STILL could never reach someone who could take action to cancel the deal! We ultimately called our credit card company to dispute the charge. FHIA has STILL not refunded the credit card charge 3 weeks later. This is a company that is unethical and uses shady methods to obtain business and bullying to try to harass people who don't want to do business with them! And we found much better quality windows for half of what FHIA wanted to charge!

I recently called several companies in order to have estimates done for hurricane impact windows. The other companies I contacted happily sent me a precise estimate with all costs I should expect and also sent the drawings so that it was clear which windows I wanted to replace. FHIA is a high pressure sales company. The representative spent 3 hours here, continually pushed me to sign on the spot.

I said I needed to review and consider their estimate. After several calls I am told that they never do written estimates and that I would get the pricing when the contract is being done written. Needless to say I will never use or recommend this company.

After initially being satisfied with the quality of service and he installation period for my full house of hurricane impact windows, I have now experienced some of the worst service anyone could ever imagine. I have waited for two months to have a window repaired due to a faulty and broken push rod. The fiasco began when I tried numerous times to reach someone in their service department with absolutely no success.

When I finally was able to speak with someone after complaining to the Company President, It still took several weeks to have a repair technician come determine what happened to my broken. Once the problem was diagnosed, I had to wait another three weeks for the technician to return to my home and fix the problem. Adding to my disappointment, the technician brought the incorrect replacement rods.

I was told that new rods were now on order. After another couple weeks and voice messages left for someone in the service department, which went totally un-responded to, which exacerbated an already frustrating situation, I was informed that my service technician had abruptly quit working for the company. I now had a new service technician come to my home to fix the broken parts.

The service technician showed up again with the wrong parts. Luckily, this technician went immediately back to the shop and picked up proper length repair parts. WHAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO QUALITY SERVICE AFTER THE SALE?

WORSE COMPANY EVER! Still waiting for a replacement window since October 25, 2021. 1 window! Because again another window has failed. Finally had a window and service scheduled for this Friday March 18th. But just got a call from their Service Manager my window the only 1 window for my replacement the glass is broken. There are no words I mean no words how upset and furious I am with this company. NO WORDS. Back to square 1! OMG!

Great initial contact, was told due to supply line issues the windows would not be made for at least 6 months. Signed initial contract a week later received a notice from my insurance company that I had to replace my roof Estimated cost $35K. Spoke with sales rep Nestor to explain my unplanned issue. Story changed, the windows were already made and paid for, strange from 6 months to a week? Nestor denied saying anything about 6 months but my wife and I both heard it.

Thus far Nestor stated that he and the president of the company are on the same level and he is the decision make. He refuses or the senior manager refuses to communicate with me about this issue. Is is only 3 windows. Be careful with the sales reps, wish me luck Disabled veteran on a fixed income. You all know how it is to be a senior citizen in South Florida

I did half of my house windows and doors with FHIA. I was initially very happy. Then after the first year or so one of my panels fogged. They replaced as they should have under warranty. Again, no complaints. Fast forward to Dec 2020 and I call to report another window panel fogged and I can't see through. I call again in Jan then Feb 2021 - nothing.

Then they send a guy out and they look over all my windows and see 3 more additional panels and the large panel on my sliding glass door are all fogged as well. 'Due to human error' they tell me after multiple calls months later they never put the order in. Finally in August 2021, they assure me my order is put in and send an email verification with a rough estimate of delivery 12 weeks later.

It's now Feb 2022 and no one seems to know anything, or respond to emails. So while they do a great job with installation, beware that you may only have a few short years till they fog up, look horrible and you will get NO customer service. Needless to say - I did the other half of the house with a different company.

We met FHIA a year ago and trusted them to do our windows. Today Gabriel wrote a contract for a new roof and a few more windows. The process has been easy and everyone at the company is very professional and knowledgeable. I will continue to call them for my home improvement projects. Services: Installation, Window repair, General door repair, Roof repair

FHIA lost the opportunity to replace my 13 windows and 3 sliding glass doors because their sales person interrupted me within the first few minutes of arriving at my home while I was in the midst of explaining what the project entailed to ask me: "Where is your husband?" I explained I was the sole owner of the home, something I had clearly stated to more than 3 customer service reps over the phone when booking and confirming my appointment. I told him the conversation was over at that point and to have a nice day. So frustrating that such antiquated gender stereotypes still exist. It's 2022 for goodness sake!

I'm so unsatisfied with the service. We order our house windows with this company and we wait patiently until everything was ready to be installed. The day of the installation one of the windows was broken and they didn't have the door. We order everything since June 2021 and it's almost Feb 2022 and we still waiting. No one give us a call, no one from the company give us an update, there is not a direct phone number who give me the proper information, not even a sales associate or someone in charge in my order. I really felt that I made a mistake choosing this company to do my windows.

We experienced a gas leak in one of the large glass panes next to our sliding glass door which we purchased from FHIA over 3 years ago. After a prompt home visit, a new glass pane was ordered. The pane arrived on time and an appointment to install it was scheduled. On the installation day, Jimmy Mejia and Fabian arrived on time and promptly installed the pane.

They were friendly, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about the product! On top of that they were both FULLY VACCINATED, which was very important as we are senior citizens! No regrets of purchasing our impact windows and doors from FHIA!

I compared several estimates and by far this was the best hands down. Not only the worth of the materials but the quality of the attention. If you call for an estimate ask for Natalia Quiles, she is the best professional and is BILINGUAL! Natalia will explain everything and will bring materials and show you differences. So happy with the attention I received, I felt like a valued costumer. Every doubt was cleared and the price is worth every penny! Definitely recommend this company.

This company installed all my impact windows several years ago. All seemed to go well and the job is complete. However, recently, the handle fell off both sides of my slider and I have been trying for over two months to get it repaired. Appointment was set, but no one showed up. When I called they said the service person noted they showed up and no one was home, and called, but no answer. I was home all day and had no missed calls. Every phone call to the company is a 15-20 minute ordeal with no results. Worst service department I have ever had to deal with!

The salesperson was knowledgeable and gave me answers for my questions. On April 24, 2021 the contract was signed. The gentleman that came to measure was wonderful also. It took months for the installation to partially begin. There were three missing impact windows, a door and two impact sidelights. One of the impact glass for the hall bathroom is the wrong one.

The installers are very professional but can't finish the job if there are items missin. Cesar called last week to let me know that everything was in and the installation would take place today November 24, 2021. The installers came by to give me the news that the midd window f the family room was broken and left in the warehouse, the sidelight for the door didn't arrive and the wrong glass pane is still not corrected. I'm experiencing the problem of the job not getting finished. It's been months and it's still not getting done.

I was told last week that everything was in and the job would be finished today. Not so! I was informed that one window was broken and another part was still on back order. Unbelievable! Now I was told that it will be sometime in January 2022. I called the company and was told that the person who could help me was at a meeting. I am still waiting for the call.

Perhaps there will be another excuse as to why the job cannot be finished. I already paid $15,000. out of the $41,000. total to complete the job. I will update my review one way or the other if it ever gets finished, pass inspection and all of the finishes are done. I believe in being fair and expect that the problem will get resolve.

The company has no customer service and no communication, and the quality of work is terrible. Their entire process, from sales, contract to installation, are three different things. They don't do what they promised. And the work is far from satisfactory. The lack of process, organization, and communication even among the employees is deplorable.

The cabinet refacing and bathrooms have been a nightmare. They don't answer, text, email, phone calls, or voicemail. The worst part is that from the President, Don Dakis, Tat Granata, VP Sales, to Edward Salmeron, District Sales Manager, they don't respond. Why offer a lifetime warranty when they don't respond? Don't forget overpaying. Find another company! Do not hire!

Their ad in my mailbox begins "You may have noticed we recently replaced one of your neighbor's roofs." What neighbor? In a different development? I have an HOA where owners aren't responsible for hiring their own roofers.

6 years ago we did phase 1 and got to meet Tat. We were very pleased with him, product and finished installation. FHIA did an immaculate job. We were impressed by the significant noise reduction and with the energy efficiency in our home as it's much cooler now. Installers explained everything very clear and did a great job. We decided to call FHIA after someone came to our door to see if we could finish our house. Gabriel came out to our home today, give us great deal on 2 sliders and 2 windows. We loved the time Gabriel spent with us and detail he went into. looking forward to finishing the job FHIA.

Overpromise and under deliver Good when they show up, supervisors never show to the job. Very good sales people We are very disappointed with the lack of communication and deficiency of the project manager staying on top We believe they are growing too fast and lack a solid middle management team Their workers are really good and hard working Final result good but not a smooth process with this company

I hired FHIA Remodeling to install impact windows all throughout my home. They did an incredible job and I could not be happier about my new windows. I've had bad experiences with contractors before, but FHIA was completely different and a breath of fresh air. Thank you to Steve Smizik and the FHIA team - my house looks great! The company does not follow through with their promises and does not manage roof projects efficiently. I recently had a roof project completed and it took over three months to complete all the work that was asked and even then, the work was not completed to my satisfaction. They promised the work would be done within 3 weeks when they knew in advance that they didn't have the materials for my job to begin, and it ended up taking over 3 months!

On the plus side, the materials that they used are top notch. Certainteed's 3 later roofing system was what the sales rep sold me and it is a bit more expensive, but unless you know the difference you won't know what you are getting, so do your homework. From what I can tell, the installation of the base waterproofing and underlayment was done correctly and to code, so at least I feel that my roof won't leak.

I thought that since this company was a certified contractor, insured and had a contract with BJs Wholesale Co., they would be excellent, but as it turns out, they are terrible with communication, they do not take the time to understand the needs of their customers and they certainly look to cut corners whenever possible. I can tell that they certainly cut corners with the replacement of the decking (Plywood).

All of the decking should have been replaced and it wasn't. Come to find out later that they make that determination on the spot and unless you specifically ask for them to replace it all, they will make their own determination for you. They damaged the gutter system I had in place beyond repair and it took over a month for them to replace it.

The soffit work that needed to be done took forever and then when they finally arrived to do it, they did not replace what I wanted replaced (due to miscommunication by the sales rep and the foreman that came out to inspect what needed to be completed. It took them a total of 4 times to ask and check what the work entailed and instead, they made a shoddy attempt at a repair as opposed to replacing soffit.

The quality of their work and their customer service is terrible. Not to mention that they are overpriced for the roof system I purchased. I found out later that I could have purchased the same roofing system from a different company for 5k dollars less than what I paid. Don't fall for the sales pitch. Make sure you do your homework and shop around.

Certainly don't rely on their pitch about being a Certified BJs contractor because that doesn't mean anything. They are very disorganized and have very poor communication. I gave two stars because of the products and materials that were used and the fact that they followed code. On a positive note, when they finally came to replace my gutters, the contractor that they hired to do the work was very professional and was very timely, but that's not a testament to the way FHIA conducts business. It's an exception. I will never hire this company again.

Representative came 40 minutes earlier than scheduled. When we didn't go outside to look at our windows that we have been looking at for many years, he showed a clear sign of irritation, stated, that he came to help but he is not our servant. We asked him to leave and he angrily grabbed his bag and left, loudly slamming the door. How can we trust this company to do our windows replacement, if they can't even properly train their sales representative?

I ordered my hurricane windows last year 2020 in April. I had to call many times. I kept hearing "They are not in yet. I'm sorry". WAITING. Every time I called the office they would say "I'm so sorry". Hurricane season came and went. WAITING. Then windows came in. They were wrong size had to reorder. WAITING. They put in windows and one sliding door.

The sliding door was wrong size. They had to reorder. WAITING. They finally put the last sliding door in. No screen. Now WAITING for the screen. They say it's in office but they want me to sign completion papers. Never use them again. I only hit one star because I couldn't post it without hitting a star.

It has been approximately 2 years since we have had the windows installed at my home from FHIA, from afar the windows look great! Though, within the 2 year window, the middle plastic portion of a few windows have fell off/ falling off, which apparently means they are low quality windows but they were very highly priced. A couple of the windows were NOT installed correctly, they wiggle from left & right.

There is not enough insulation where the windows were installed. We have reached out to the company so many times for these issues to be fixed, mostly where it is not correctly insulated. They have ignored our complaint many times, we were told they would come out and fix the issue, and when the date & time comes, no one has shown up, no call no show.

We get the run around when calling the company; I have honestly NEVER dealt with a more unprofessional company ever! Its disgraceful and beyond disappointing. We had 18 windows replaced at once, it was done pretty swiftly though the quality of the work was not there. I would absolutely never recommend this company, your best best is to shop around and find better.

Unless you truly just want to get the job done and don't care if its done correctly or with the good quality products and horrible customer service, this is the company for you. Otherwise, you are better off spending your money elsewhere.
