Horrible. went 2 get sum keys made. they only had 1 of the keys I needed. So it was a complete waste of time.

There FFL service is horrible. I've probably had 10 transfers there trying to build a good relationship with them. What a waist of time. They say they will call you when they get your package, do not count on them to do so! You can tell the young lady who does transfers isn't in a hurry to help you and has zero sense of urgency. Again this will be my last transfer with them. Highly highly disappointed and you will be too. Do not go there

Ace is what it is everywhere. They fill a need. Hobart lumber ace has super nice and helpful folks.

I have shopped in this Ace store in the past, but NEVER AGAIN! You would think for the prices they charge they could hire professional, courteous help, but that is not the case! The snotty rude cashier with braided pig tales, should Never work around customers. The fellow who sold me a product to get rid of rodents was uneducated and the product never worked! I'm DONE with this store forever.don't waste your money folks. I can't believe they are still in business!

Helpful if you need it, allow you to shop on your own if you don't Much easier to select small quantities of fasteners than big box stores.

Employees were very polite and helpful. It was my first time in this store and I signed up for a store card because I know I am going to be going back here! A wonderful experience!

We went to Ace today and before we walked in my wife says we'll have to be patient we don't know where anything is. Upon entering the store a gentelman greated us asked us what we where looking for helped us locate, with no effort, 5 different items saving us probably 25 minutes thank you hobart ace hardware for giving your customers 5 star service. You've earned our businesses for life.

These people are always helpful and friendly. Ok, you're not getting Menard's prices, because this is a local business that can't compete with them on every level. But you get people who remember you, who stand behind what they sell, and who help you if you don't exactly know what you need to get a job done. I have nothing against big chains, but it's the small stores like this that were once the backbone of towns across the states, and they're still their giving the best that they can to whoever stops in. Support local businesses. They have a great staff who genuinely cares about customers. Drop by sometime.

This location is now an Ace Hardware. We just moved from Naperville, IL to Hobart. The staff at our Naperville Ace Hardware stores were nothing less than excellent. To my pleasant surprise, I've discovered the Hobart Ace Hardware staff to be a cut above Naperville's superb staff. I've now made repeated visits to this Hobart Ace Hardware.

The staff always asks if I need help. When I have needed help or advice, they have provided excellent assistance each time. I'm an avid DIY'er. Given good prices and excellent service, I am very happy to have this as my new go-to hardware store.

Conveniently located, and full of small town charm. The staff are very amicable and there is a good selection for a small store. I prefer a small shop to a big shop because they are more willing to work with you. Also they have free popcorn on Saturdays. I'm easy to bribe.

Great local guys, and they have delivery. When you go in you are dealing with men, not some kid like at a super store.

Stopped at the hardware store one evening just before closing a month or so ago. Not only did they go out of their way to help my dad and I with what we needed but also priced it very reasonably! We have had several similar experiences shopping here over the years. Thank you for a painless repair that night and superb customer service (and popcorn) over the years. It really is a pleasure to support this local business

It's the closest hardware store to us in town. I sometimes stop in here, but I usually go to one of the bigger home improvement stores, there's just more of a selection.
