I can't say enough good about Scotty the installer, he was fast, friendly and professional! He went at his work like an artist with a master piece to finish. I will be using them in the future and reccomend them to anyone needing windows in thier home. Service: Window installation

I bought their windows at a higher cost and was told windows would be in within 1 to 2 days. The installers only install 4 windows a day, and only 2installers came. They are still not done and I am told it will be another several days. The caulking used is highly toxic smell, and gave me a very bad headache. I was told all my blinds would be put back up.

Then when i asked the installers to do that they indicated that they don't really do that. Then agreed to put up 3 of the 8 blinds, mind you i still have 8 more windows to be installed. As a consumer this company is not good. Don't Buy from them, the sales rep i called said of course they would reinstall the blinds and I was only the second person to complain about the toxic fumes, that I should tell installers to do the blinds. And maybe leave my home because of THE FUMES WTF. THIS COMPANY IS NOT A FAIR OR ETHICAL COMPANY, DON'T USE THEM. RUN AWAY.

I get it, our little $5000 back sliding door project is pennies in the bucket for a company with $30 million in revenues but to us it a dream we've had since you guys did our windows a few yrs ago. If you as a company require me to call you 24/48 hrs in advance if I need to change/cancel my scheduled appt the I EXPECT the same courtesy and from someone official at the company, not the hired helps wife.

We didn't look at anyone else to do our back door project because you did our windows a few years ago.when we get ready to do both of our bathroom projects you won't even get called to give us a quote. THATS WHAT YOU CALL LOSING YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER. every body in the State of Ohio knows if its supposed to rain simply by looking at their phones yet you don't think our little $5000 project warrants an advance notice of change or cancellation.very poor customer service, lets get this straight, we are the customer, we do not owe you anything, we picked you you didn't pick us and now we will NEVER pick you again

My husband and I got our windows installed in September 2021. We loved the sales rep for the company, but have been less impressed with the windows themselves. We were told that installers would look at each window before installing them, that was false. We have had multiple calls and windows replaced as they had defects in them that we noticed after install.

We have had leaks from rain coming through windows and are STILL awaiting new slabs for some windows that had scratches in between the panes. I get told, "We will call you back" and don't receive calls. We have been waiting for weeks to get new slabs installedI. I feel as though the windows are way over priced for what we are dealing with. Have tried contacting managers without any luck.

I'd give 0 stars if I could! *Positive* When we had our main window fall in from lack of security due to the manufacturer, we had it replaced in a few days. They came and boarded it up while we awaited a new one to be made. Thankfully no one was harmed in the process.

Our entire experience with ImproveIt was absolutely wonderful. From the beginning with our sales rep, Kyle, all the way to installation with Austin, Camden, and Vance was above and beyond what I expected. A manager came out personally prior to installation to double check everything that had been set up for measurements and what we wished to have.

He answered all of our questions just as everyone we worked with did. Austin, Camden, and Vance were kind, personable, and very professional at the same time. It's been about two weeks now since install and we noticed a huge difference the same day of installation and still have noticed many positive impacts. I'd recommend this company to my friends and family without a doubt. Thank you for providing such great service and for being actual kind humans.

We called this company for an estimate for windows. They were absurdly insistent that both homeowners be present for this free walkthrough. When my husband wasn't there, I was asked where he was and got a really weird vibe that this was throwing the rep off. I have never felt like someone has wasted my time more. Unfortunately, the sales rep was kind and just doing his job, but he completely missed the mark.

I am not sure if this is how they do all of their sales visits, but they are not going to make many customers with this approach. I do not need to watch a slideshow presentation for 30 mins regarding the company's awards, reputation, locations, president's phone number, trust etc. He even asked me corny questions after each slide like, "How does that sound to you?" "Do we sound like the type of company you trust?". great. I'd be happy with a paper hand out of this and just getting to the bottom line.

I have things to do! When he first arrived we spent 20 minutes going over the sort of things I look for in a window company. It's just too much and felt so forced. I'd give him an answer and he'd just dig for more. It's almost like he was trying to meet a time requirement for being at our home. It was SUCH a hard car-salesman type approach I was shocked that he thought anyone would want to sit and listen to him for that long.

Then when we're going over the pricing, he needs to make a call to make sure the outside of the windows he took photos of didn't need anything extra done to them. This tactic felt extremely salesy and overplayed- the guy on the phone loudly announced the good news that we'd be getting the best possible price and did not need additional exterior work.

It took him forever to calculate the estimate- every other company that came was able to do this really quickly. After having multiple window companies over, this certainly my least favorite experience. TO TOP THIS ALL OFF: He then quoted me 25k for new windows. Every other quote I received from other companies was under 12k. This is for 12 windows.

I told him that was by far the highest we had seen and he seemed a bit offended and continued to go over the reasons his were more valuable. He asked me if I only cared about the price. I didn't appreciate that!

Following a visit by an Improveit salesman and an in person follow up from a manager after we rejected their initial proposed quote, we sent the following to their contact person. They acknowledged receipt of the email. I thought it would be useful to share the email: Hi ****, Thank you for the documented quote and thank you to both you and ****** for taking the time to come see us and work with us to develop the quote.

I wanted to let you know that we had come to a decision regarding our master bathroom remodel and have decided not to proceed with Improveit as the provider. I think it would be useful for you to know our decision process, so I hope the below is constructive for you and your organization: As an example, I would like to bring a Google review to your attention, written by user ***** ****.

His experience was similar to ours so you may want to refer to this. I won't rewrite the narrative here as he has eloquently put it better than I could. I note that your president responded to this review and stated lessons learned would be implemented. In our experience, this has yet to be done. Firstly, we selected Improveit based on their promotional literature stating that your organization was a bathroom remodeling company.

As we discussed, with the large scope of work that you declined to take on, it seemed that Improveit focused on being a bathroom wet space installer, of their own products and not a whole bathroom remodeler. We may still have engaged with your business knowing this, had we decided on our own volition that we would take on the burden of engaging multiple contractors to complete the total workscope. Instead, for a potential supplier to tell us we had to do this, we felt quite uncomfortable.

Especially knowing that other suppliers were willing to take on responsibility for the total scope we had defined. We were also concerned that while there was significant time taken to present the ImproveIt business, there could have been more time allocated to present the product and let it 'sell itself.' While the Improveit products were impressive, there was little time afforded to showcase the product.

Few examples of actual installations, including installations that were comparable to ours and only scant examples of the range of options were available. For our chosen provider, we were able to see examples of work that was similar to our project and they were willing to make an offer for the completion of the work scope beyond only the wet space Improveit was willing to do.

This may well be the current corporate approach for your company, but we felt there is much work to be done here to guarantee customer satisfaction and reduce the chance of unnecessary 'hard sell' that made us feel uncomfortable. We appreciate that you went to some lengths to give us the best price available through the More program, but the final pricing was far removed from the competition for the limited scope of work Improveit was able to accomplish.

While we're willing to pay a premium to get a high quality solution, we could not rationalize the added value that Improveit was providing for the significant uplift being charged. I hope the above items are useful to your organization to refine your business approach and realize increased opportunities for sales. We did greatly value your time to visit us and discuss your offerings and wish you the best of luck in your company's future. Regards,
Jeremy Croy

Patio Door Estimate: The salesman, Dave Smith, did an excellent job. He was on time for the appointment, answered all our questions and concerns, (in fact he answered some questions that we didn't even think to ask), and provided a fair quote with no pressure for an immediate decision. He seemed to really believe in his product and was very knowledgeable of the product details. Dave was not high-pressure but we decided to go ahead and schedule the custom built patio door installation in 4-6 weeks - none standard dimensions.

We've dealt with this company 7 years ago to replace all our windows and add a bay window on the front of the house. The work then was top notch with no complaints. I have every confidence that this work will be the same. Time will tell. Since we've had all the windows replaced 7 years ago, I've recorded about a 15%-20% decrease in electric KW usage.

There was some decrease in gas usage, but not as much. The electric savings was more significant. Bottom line - based on past experience, I can recommend their products. Based on our meeting with Dave Smith yesterday, I can highly recommend him.

ImproveIt has kept in contact to make sure we were satisfied after they completed their job. We did have a minor issue that they immediately came back to fix. Shane did a wonderful job and was highly professional. I would definitely look forward to getting more windows in the future with ImproveIt because they have a really wonderful team that actually cares.

Bottom line up font: STAY AWAY! My wife and I have been shopping around for someone to repair or replace our shower. ImproveIt was one of the top search results for bathroom repair/remodeling work. My wife trusts me to handle an appointment for an estimate, but they insisted that my wife and I must both be present for the appointment. No other contractor I've worked with has such a requirement.

I didn't have the best feeling about them after the phone call, but I went ahead with the appointment, which they said would take 60-90 minutes. The representative they sent seemed very nice. He complimented our home, and asked questions about the smoker I have on our back porch. He inspected our shower and decided that the tile work was shoddy and would need to be completely replaced.

This didn't seem totally unreasonable since the grout in the floor was crumbling. In retrospect, he would have come to the same conclusion no matter what he saw. Following the inspection, we sat down at the kitchen table for his presentation/sales pitch. He talked up the company and went over all of the awards they've received. He then talked through various options for redoing our shower.

As it turns out every option is terrible except one. The one that isn't terrible is the product he's trying to sell. His product was a very sciency miracle materiel material, aka plastic. What he didn't know is that my wife and I both have advanced degrees in materials engineering, so we saw right through his B.S. There's nothing wrong with plastic, and it may be a good product, but it's hardly unique.

At this point in the process, I hadn't quite figured out that he was going for the hard sell, used car salesman style. He had an affable demeanor and continued to pepper in compliments of our very ugly kitchen. He was very patient with our toddler disrupting the conversation and playing with his material samples. After we selected materials and options, he finally gave us a cost quote.

The quote: $16,617! Over $16,000 to replace a 3'x3' shower that might not even need to be replaced! The quote was good for a year, but if we signed a contract for the work in the next 30 days, we would get about a $1,000 discount. But wait, he had a letter from the owner of the company. It was a very official looking letter, and it gave him permission to give an extra $1500 off if we signed a contract right then and there.

My wife and I had not consulted any other contractors for the work, so we weren't about to sign a contract for over $13,000 on the spot without a better feel for the market. We hadn't ruled them out, but we needed more information. When we explained this to the salesman, he tried to convince us that it was a foolish waste of time to get more quotes.

He said we wouldn't want to sit through yet another 3 hour (yes, he was at our house for 3 hours) presentation. He continued to push, but we held firm. As he packed up his things, my wife thanked him for his time. His response: "I just don't understand why you wouldn't sign the contract now and save $1,500, but whatever." He was suddenly quite rude.

In retrospect, the sales tactics are quite clear. First he buttered us up. Then he "inspected" our shower and found that yes, indeed, it needed to be fully replaced. Then he talked up his company and product while disparaging any competitors. Then he hit us with the hard sell. I don't appreciate such tactics. I don't care how good the product is. I won't give my business to someone who treats me that way.

My experience with this company left me believing they are unethical. Their sales person gave me false information about the material in my bathroom and it's condition. Unfortunately, I believed him. Do not make the same mistake. Do not assume you are getting truthful information from any sales representative associated with this company.

I was impressed with their service from initial sales call to completed installation of new windows. Kyle the salesman was very informative, I had actually chosen another company for my windows, but Kyle's presentation changed my mind. While he was there my dog got loose and when he left he drove through my neighborhood trying to find him. He also called later that evening to see if I had found him.

The installation crew of Scott Allen, Phillip Moore and Frank Backus were stellar. They treated my home as if it was there own. They kept me informed of progress as they installed them and cleaned up every bit of dirt that was the result of removing old windows. I was very impressed with this company and would use them again for future home improvements projects.

We found this company online and our first meeting with Kyle, we were impressed with their presentation. We ordered the windows, and Scott, Phillip and Frank knocked it out of the park. They all were very professional, knew their stuff, and we are so happy with our choice. Highly recommend this business.

Love my new shower. Gary and his son in law did an awesome job with the install. They were punctual, respectful and considerate of the Covid19 situation. Gary really cares about the final product and wants the customer to love his work. He is very good at what he does. My only issue was with the salesman. It definitely felt like high pressure sales and them the tub wasn't the same as the picture he showed us.

I wanted a soaker tub with anti-slip. The one I was shown was really nice with arm rests. The one I got was a plain soaker tub with no anti-slip. The company did accommodate me though. They gave me $500 back on the tub and sent out another man to apply anti-slip to the new tub. Overall, after taking care of a couple of things, I am satisfied with my new shower.

They worked very hard to get me to a price for windows I could afford by lumping my order into a much larger order (I only got 4 windows). They also helped me get financing at no interest for 12 months. They were installed quickly, quietly, and without a fuss. The gentleman cleaned everything up; when he was done and when I told him I wanted to keep the old windows to make a small greenhouse, he moved them all around to the back yard and stacked them neatly next to the house.

I was greatly appreciative. Now that I have had these for about a month, I can tell the difference in the temperature in the house every afternoon. The salesman and the installer were very professional, kind, and courteous. I would recommend this company and would not hesitate to hire them again.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service and poor quality work. My husband and I has to harass them constantly to fix mistakes they had made. What was quoted as a 3 week project turned into a 6 month project. When we booked the job with them, they said we wouldn't pay anything until the job was completed. You could imagine our shock when we started getting charged 4 MONTHS before the job was completed. Save yourself a lot of wasted money and headaches. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

These people play a hidden game of cost I don't even believe they manufacture the Windows they're just a subcontractor who marks up the price of the windows you will never get buy 4 get 1 free or anything like that but what you will get is telephone harassing calls 4 years after your purchase no follow-up at all. zero. Go somewhere else even though it's a fairly good quality window and the installer was excellent there's nothing else overpriced in my opinion

I'm not entirely sure of the quality of this company's services. However, my first interaction with them left a sour taste in my mouth. I was approached in a Walmart in the furnace air filter section by a representative. The representative asked if I would be interested in entering a contest to win a remodel (either a bathroom remodel or new windows for the house).

Feeling the pressure, I said sure. I went thru the whole speech thing and when asked which option I'd order if I won, I said the windows. The gentleman said I made that decision very quickly and asked if the company could visit my home and complete a no obligation inspection. Since I am interested in replacing my windows, I agreed. This gentleman proceeded to call his dispatcher to schedule my appointment.

I had to speak with a woman on the phone to confirm my details and confirm the appointment. Everything up to this point was fine. I was happy to have a company come to my home and give me an estimate on a project I know needs completed. What I don't appreciate is what happened next. When speaking with the lady on the phone, she confirmed that I am the sole owner of the house by checking the local county auditor page.

She proceeded to then ask me if there was a Mr. in the house, if I was married. I said no. She then continued to pester and said "Well, most people have a husband, significant other, or children living in the house with them." I do have someone living with me, but they have no say on the windows I put in my house, so what would it matter? I explicitly told the lady that I was the one paying the bill for the windows and it is my house.

She said that my boyfriend must be present during the inspection. At this point, I was absolutely livid. I just agreed to get off the phone with her. She mentioned that a day before my appointment they would call again to confirm. Once off the phone, the representative in the store apologized once I explained what happened and my sudden mood change.

The day before my appointment I received a phone call from the company - a man this time. He asked to confirm my appointment and then made an effort to confirm that my boyfriend would also be there. I explained to him that no my boyfriend would not be present as he would be at work. The man said that is ok and we would have to reschedule for a time he was there.

I started to get angry again. I asked the man why my boyfriend would need to be there? He just said "It's company policy." After trying to reschedule (my boyfriend works a second shift and his off days are different than mine), I concluded that I'd prefer the company not come out to my home at all and cancelled any future appointments. I will not do business with a company that is not willing to come to my home without a man present.

Had a rep out for a quote after visiting their booth at Ohio state fair. Wanted 3 windows replaced. Non functioning dead light windows, convert in to casement. Previous quotes from other vendors estimate total project at $1200-$1600. This companies quote was $3700!?!?!?! They want your whole house replacement project and pin their costs over the energy efficiency of their windows.

They try to throw fancy terminology around and wouldn't answer point blank questions. May be worth it for whole house if you are willing to eat the cost. Additionally, rep was 30 minutes late because they forgot their samples. Coming for a window appointment, how do you forget your window samples?

These guys are scam artists stay away! The sales guys come to your house with a sales pitch and lie through their teeth the whole time they are there. They will quote you an outrageous price that's four times what you should be paying. Please do your research and don't Invite these people in your home

A solid three times the price for replacement windows. After turning down the initial offer (which took THREE HOURS of enduring the boring history of the company and some smoke and mirrors sales pitching), we were later again asked to have a sister company come by because they "just so happened" to have a "deal" on the very same identical product.

This required my wife and I to give up additional time from work to arrange a meeting for information that the company already had; which already took an absolutely abysmal time to convey. The second salesman slithered to my doorstep oozing arrogance. He said "My pencil is VERY sharp, I can get you something better." and proceeded to use the exact same measurement sheet, to measure every window in the house again.

He then tossed me an offer for still TWICE the amount that a previous vendor had offered. I did not accept, and he said "it is a take-it-or-leave-it offer, didn't you know?". At this point, he awkwardly left my home. I'm not about to spend $18K on windows, when another well-known and reputable vendor is offering product at under $6K. This company preys on easily influenced people that can be easily manipulated into buying a product based on promises and snake oil.

I had 6 quotes for my bahtroom remodel. The most expensive quote other than this company was 12000. I had warned improve it when they called ME that I woujld not be making any decsions on the spot. They said fine. Brandon came out to visit me. we talked about what we wanted, picked out our colors, flooring, vanity ect. He cam back with the ludicrous quote of 23,000. he then "managed" to drop it to 19000. he then proceeded with the hard sell.

He saw a little mold on the grouting and stated "I was with the health department and this bathroom should be shut down immediately because of mold damage" among many other hard sell tactics. Just an fyi, when the comapany I had do the job tore out my walls, NOT ONE bit of mold or even water damage was fouind. The company I used, used the same product, acrylic as improe it does.

Now improve it does use a thicker version of acrylic, but it is glued to cement board anyway, so that makes little diffence in quality, and certainly not worth 13000 more. They also claim that they have anti scratch coating that others dont have. That may be true, but what are you doing in the shower to scratch up the walls anyway, so once again not worth 13000.

They will also tell you they are the only ones to offer lifetime warranty. This is not true, most of their competitors off a lifetime warranty as well. Last but not least, they will send a person every year to check your shower. While the other companies don't do this, is it worth 13000? I think NOT. DON'T EVEN BOTHER GETTING A QUOTE FROM THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS.

A man from Improve It! approached me at Walmart wanting to know if I wanted to enter a drawing for a free bathroom remodel. I agreed, gave him my information, and then he told me that I also qualified for a FREE in-home, no pressure, estimate to replace our current bath/shower combo. Since we were thinking of replacing it soon, I agreed. I figured since their "showroom" was in Walmart they would be somewhat reasonable.

I was wrong. I was told on the phone they would need 60-90 minutes of our time. The guy showed up almost 30 minutes late. He spent over an hour asking us all kinds of questions about our bath tub"needs" and telling us about how great their company is and why we should only go with them. All other contractors were bad for all kinds of reasons. He then spent over 15 minutes telling us all about the systems we could use, but should not.

By now, he was passed his 90 minutes and had not even gotten to their product. After another frustrating 20 minutes, he finally told us it would be over $10,000 to replace our current tub/shower combo with acrylic-not stone or granite-just acrylic! I told him I thought that was a lot and he looked at me like I was crazy and that the price was a deal. They may be a good company with a quality product, but their marketing and sales pitch was so incredibly frustrating that I would never, ever use them for anything.

Be very aware of this company! Their salesman are like hungry wolves and stop at nothing to get you to use the services. I recently had one ring my door bell, by the time i got to the door I heard him trying my door knob! Here is the Worst part. I emailed the company to complain and they never acknowledged my email. Do you really want to have a company like this working INSIDE your home? I sure dont!
