We chose Jetalum storm windows for our 115 year old home, and the end product turned out great! The proportions are perfect, the mid rail lines up perfectly with the sashes, and the storm windows don't detract from the character of the old windows. The windows were just fine but dealing with the ordering and and install was a pain. The installer was rude & when I paid he had no change and decided that was his tip. He suckered himself though because he got a considerable amount less than what I was planning on giving him. They told me they were insulating and the air is whistling through the gaps now.

I'll have to tear out all the trim and redo the whole job apparently. It also took almost a year for him to come out and even measure. I wanted to go with a locally produced product and don't regret that decision but next time I'll hire a reliable contractor for the installation.

Live in a home built in the late 60's with the original windows. We used Jetalum to replace ever one and we were thrilled!
