Had help from a young man and in the rain he jumped right in turned a nasty day into a good day, can't thank him enough!

Not a lot of room to back up, if you are in 53 foot trailer with sleeper. Docks are basically for box trucks, not semi trucks. They do unload you quickly though.

Stay away! We ordered brand new kitchen cabinets from Elevations (K&I Lumber) and had a terrible experience. Our cabinets showed up with scratches, dings, a very poor paint job, and random holes drilled in incorrect places. The cabinet installers attached the drawer pulls incorrectly or crooked in multiple places. They then tried to hide it with a white crayon.

They left our brand-new white cabinets covered in dirty hand prints and with pencil marks everywhere. We've been arguing with them for weeks to install the crown molding which was part of the deal. Communication is non-existent. They never call you back and almost never answer the phone. I wish I had gone with my gut on these guys. Just stay away from them!

We were very pleased with K-I Lumber for our cabinet installation during a major kitchen remodel. We worked closely with Mike from the Elevations Showroom who helped us pick cabinets, hardware, and handled the installation details. The cabinets and add-ons that we selected for our customized kitchen are wonderful and very high quality. When there were any issues with install or damaged parts, Mike was very responsive and quick to help find solutions. We would recommend K-I Lumber for cabinets.

Update: I added a star because K-I reached out and made the panel right. My frustrations dealing with them in general stand but I appreciate them ultimately reordering the panel as well as correcting issues along the way. Original Post: Started a kitchen remodel project last year. Took a while for my girlfriend's mom to decide what to go with. I had originally given the inexperienced designer my measurements but K-I insisted on coming out to measure. Using their measurements, they ordered the cabinets off-center from the window/kitchen sink.

To K-I's credit, they ordered three new cabinets to adjust for the major mistake. This delayed the installation by about a month and within that time, covid struck the country and KY was placed on lockdown. In the time period we were waiting for the new cabinets to come in, an end panel was ordered by K-I that was mistakenly left off the cabinet order as an oversight.

The first rep claims I insisted on not having one which is simply not true. Also, why would K-I order one at no expense to the homeowner if we had left it off? No, it's another rep mistake. Anyway, the panel came in and I placed it in storage until my girlfriend's 70 year old mother was comfortable with starting the project back up again. When we started back up, we discovered the end panel didn't match at all.

I'm now being told by K-I I can purchase a new one for $194 and that we're lucky they're willing to do that because they don't work with homeowners anymore, just contractors. Seriously? The panel YOU sent doesn't match so you want ME to buy another potentially unmatching panel to do what? Hope it matches or I'm out another panel? Very unprofessional and I'm happy to avoid K-I like the plague for all of my future projects.

Everyone was very helpful. They were all wearing their masks per the CDC guidelines. The prices are extremely better than home depot or lowes. I feel like their prices and selections are well worth the drive to get what you want and or need.

I needed some help sizing a beam for a load bearing wall. I went to contractor sales. They immediately helped me. I met with Alex Schulz. We reviewed my drawings and discussed the possible solutions. Following that I was given a quote for the parts I will need. Alex is patient, detailed and just an outstanding engineer! Mike Heusel also took time out of what he was doing to get a quote and check inventory. This is great service! I will be buying as much as I can from K&I.

The employees at K&I lumber are very nice and helpful, but the biggest reason for the 4 stars is the price. It was far better than the box stores. It's not a 5 star rating because our sales person was slow to return calls and messages. He was incredibly nice and not over salesy so I appreciated him but he also wasn't completely on the ball. He was patient in running numbers for many scenarios which I appreciated because we were a relatively small sale as we were only buying a pantry cabinet and a fridge cabinet not an entire kitchen. I do not understand why it has such a low google rating because the people were helpful and the prices were 10-25% lower than anywhere else we looked!

As a small business owner renovating my own rental properties I've been working with most of the big box retails (Menard's and Home Depot) for several years. The idea of having a rep who I could call and order materials over the phone with and have delivered was quite attractive so I switched to K&I. Rob was FANTASTIC to start. Super friendly, responsive and made me feel like my business was appreciated.

He worked hard for me and that was a great contrast to the big box stores. Amazing selection and their products were great quality. Best exterior doors for the price I've ever found. Long story short, the communications began to wane, deliveries started coming with the wrong materials, communication to fix orders was unsatisfactory (read: "I'll call you at X time with an update" and 24-48 hours later no call), communication about deliveries was none existent. Deliveries showed up when no one was on the job site prompting me to stop what I was doing and get to the site to move entire orders of lumber/windows to a safe location so they wouldn't be stolen. Orders I had made over the phone weren't ever put in so when I called to check on status there was no record.

Management was unwilling to make things right so I took my $45k/year business back to Menard's. What's the deal guys? This apparently is a problem and not a new one at that. Where's your management team? Where are the owners? OBVIOUSLY there are operational problems in your business. When you get those fixed give me a call and give me a huge incentive to come back. Until then I'll be over at Menard's.

Awful customer service. Unless you've got a $60,000 order or more they could care less about you. Especially if it's a Saturday, they don't want anybody bothering them on a Saturday. Every time I had to deal with them I swore I would never use them again. Three times they promised me something over the phone that when I make the drive all the way out there to find out the person I talked with over the phone doesn't know what he's talking about and it's my fault for not communicating it clearly.

Their inventory is all messed up so when you come to pick up your order they don't have it all and you have to waste another day to come and pick it up. I've stood at the desk for 10 minutes waiting for them to get done with their conversations between each other before they will assist anyone at the desk. One of the supervisors had to yell at them to come to the desk and assist me with my order.

You might think it would save you time because they have a lot of things in stock, but every single time I have used them I have wasted valuable days. I have found it way more efficient to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and learn to use what they have and loaded up myself. I have promised myself this time never again.
