The beginning for us was 1977. We purchased King Lumber from Mr. King, who, after many years, was preparing to retire. This King Lumber yard has been in operation since the 1890s, functioning continuously for more than 100 years. A major reason for our growth is our commitment to stocking large and varied amounts of inventory.

We focus on ease of access and efficiency when it comes to our millwork inventory. Our millwork specialists can find the right material for you whether it's wood or synthetic. Nearly all of our millwork can be installed with little to no modification during the construction process. You'll also find that you have plenty of help, if not too much help, when it comes to loading your material so you can be on your way as soon as possible.

We needed help installing a decorative bird house in our garden. We had a pretty good idea what we wanted, but Victor guided us through the decision making and suggested and ordered the proper, reasonably-priced posts and supplies. The order arrived earlier than quoted and the staff who helped us load our car were lovely, helpful, and kind. Vincent gets credit for his gracious professionalism and the front desk and yard staff for their kind, helpful ways. This is a wonderful lumber/hardware/home store.

Came to this Lumber Yard for product that boone else in the area had. King Lumber had what I needed! The staff at the front desk were polite and helpful with a genuine desire to be of assistance.after I paid my fee and got my ticket.off to the yard to get my materials.anyone who has ever dealt with Yard Staff in Lower NY knows the yards are all Teamster run.this can be challenging with the mix of personality's and bad attitude.
Happy to say King yard staff were just as helpful a d just as nice as the counter staff! Thank you for a pleasurable experience! Will be returning for sure when up in that area.

These people are completely incompetent and have no customer service skills. I had rented a U-Haul truck through their location, and their kid dispatcher could not fulfill my request. I waited over an hour until I gave up, but not before the owner accosted me while not practicing social distancing. The worst people I've ever had the displeasure of working with.the WORST

Spent well over $20k there THIS YEAR. Customer service guy with initials JB is the worst. Doesn't return phone calls. Doesn't return emails. The last quote I requested he basically ignored for 3+ weeks. So now I moved all of our business to Ring's End. No affiliation but Rings End service is excellent where King couldn't care less about their customers, commercial or homeowners alike.

Excellent service. Honest, helpful staff. They spent hours going out of their way to make sure I left with exactly what I needed. Customer satisfaction is obviously their top priority. We rented a UHaul truck from their location and our reservation was cancelled. If you have any experience with UHaul, this is typical. At King's Lumber, Dillon was the associate who helped us locate another truck and price out trucks from other companies in the area after spending two hours trying to sort out UHaul's mess for us.
All three of the employees working at the time were on the phone trying to help. We were amazed with how much they cared. They were professional, patient and considerate. Customer service like this is rare these days.
