Founded in 1958 by Frank Lombardy in Jersey City, NJ, Lombardy Door Sales has grown into one of the tri-state area's premier door companies. In need of more space and a more central location, the business was moved to Belleville, NJ by Michael Lombardy Sr. From that modest building in a residential neighborhood of Jersey City, we have grown to two locations to better service our customers throughout all of New Jersey and the metro New York area. I think Lambardy is under appreciated. My previous house owner use them and I ask them to repair. They are on time and very honest. I moved to a new location. I find their number and call them again. The same great service. They also give me a quote, which is cheaper than others. I do not write review often but too many over price garage door companies, boosted by google ranking. It makes this type of tranditional company, Lambardy, not found easily online. I am here to boost this company. They deserve five star rating.

I needed to have one my garage doors repaired. I left a message during Memorial Day weekend (2020). Someone called me at 8am that Tuesday and scheduled a same day appointment. They sent someone around noon to asses and by 6pm or so everything was fixed. I needed a pulley replacement but they pointed out some other minor issues I had. There was no pressure from them and I opted to add the missing safety components on my other door. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend you use them for your garage door needs.

I have had a horrible experience thus far. I was referred to this company by a friend of mine who has his own construction company. When I first called a man answered, almost like it bothered him to take a call. He said he would have someone call me back, this never happened. At this point, I should've known not to even give them a second chance, but I did.
I called back the lady who answered was nice, but she asked for my availability and said she would call back to confirm, of course I never received a call and the rep show up unannounced and of course I was not home. I did have someone open the gate so that he can go and measure the grave door which I'm looking to replace. 3 days go by and no call or nothing, I had to call them to see if they even had a quote prepared and the lady said I would get an email from the rep.
Of course I have yet to receive anything. This place truly sucks! Follow up sucks. I decided to go with Sears, very profesional on time with appointment and scheduling. I would recommend anyone to do the same
