I hate to leave such a negative review, but enough is enough! This company's customer service response is HORRIBLE! What an incredible waste of time for me! Every single person I spoke with was polite and seemed eager to help me with my project of shower door installation, however they NEVER responded to my requests! Despite emailing detailed photos of the project area to them per their request, over a week passed without hearing from them.

When I called to ensure that they had received the information, they admitted that they had and would have someone reach out to me on the next business day which would have been Monday. Four business days passed and I called yet again and was told that someone would reach out to me by the end of the day. That never occurred. I could go on describing three more examples of this company's lack of response to my questions and complete failure of their employees to follow through with the information they provide, but will refrain from doing so.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company based on their complete lack of interest in responding to customer requests. With the economy as it is today, there many, MANY other companies here in the Houston area who would love to have my business! Stay away from this company, they are a complete waste of time!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Fair price and great quality glass. Stop by (any location) if you have questions or want to see examples in person. I needed custom glass shelves cut and they were able to get them done for me in just over a week.

I recently had Lone Star Glass repair a complicated 3/4 inch glass table that had become dangerously loose and wobbly. I worked with Christopher at the Bissonett St. location and he came up with a plan that saved me about $ 500.00. What would have been costly and complicated was reasonable, quick and efficient and restored the table to perfection. I have used this company for all of my glass needs for over 13 years and they never fail to deliver outstanding service, quality and pricing. Christopher is a genius!

Got my car broken into and makeup bag with $500 worth of makeup was stolen. I had a specialist come in to my job site and he was done within an hour! I was so pleased with his work and he was prompt and professional. Highly recommend them!

So I was a little skeptical after reading the previous reviews but I must say I am very impressed with how quickly the job I asked for was completed and the quality of the work. Lone Star glass was recommended to me by a coworker. After trying to go to the Bissonet location I was told the Hammerly store would service my home because of where I live.

Well after calling the Hammerly location, I was transferred right away to speak to Jimmy so we could schedule a time for him to come out to my home and give me a quote. He was 15 min early which was very much appreciated and even wore boot covers into my home. I needed a custom arch mirror and he was very thorough with explaining the different kinds of glass and guarantees with them.

After being quoted a very reasonable price, the crew came out the following week at my convenience and the whole crew was very friendly. Highly recommend this company and location.

Very organized and friendly. I love that this place is family owned and they treat you with empathy and kindness. The custom work they can do is amazing - you ask it they can make it! I go there for all their glass needs and highly recommend them to all my friends. Ask for Ross - he is really knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me.

Very sweet people . If you need something to be replaced because of repairs they are the ones. Virginia is always ready to go the extra mile to help or give advice on a project or quick repairs.

Horrible customer service. I called to see about scheduling two job quotes. The lady put me on hold for 6 minutes! I hung up, called back. She said she was the only one in the office, and put me on hold again! For another 5 minutes! Not a way to treat potential customers. Take a number and call them back, Lone Star.

I called and gave the lady over the phone the details of the glass I needed and she said she would call me right back with a quote. Two days later I call to find out wheres the quote and she asks me what size glass I need? Really? If this is any sign of the customer service to come never mind, I'll find someone else willing to help. Waste of time!

Great service for a novices such as myself. I was adding glass fronts to some cabinets in my kitchen and purchased the glass from Lone Star. I had never ordered custom cut glass before they held my hand and made sure I got what I needed. I highly recommend this company to the diyers out there

Jimmy Ramirez, owner, has NO INTEGRITY as an owner. I would AVOID doing business with this company. When the new windows (very large) were being install in my new house his guys used the trellis on the front of my home as their ladder. They literally tore the trellis off my home and then tried to blame it on my builder. They never asked for permission to install the window using that method.

The same large gable window (12 months later) now has a STRESS fracture running from the bottom to the top of the window. Jimmy tried to blame it on the tint, but this is the exterior window of double pane windows, it's actually a design issue with Jimmy and the builder (warranties are up with both parties). Jimmy looked at the window and said he would split the cost of installing a new window then RETRACTED his offer.

The original window doesn't have the proper grade of temper which resulted in the fracture. I'm estimating a new window will run me close to $2500 or more. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There is no integrity in what Jimmy Ramirez says. I had to constantly call him out 1) he had to come out 11 months later to proper seal the windows his company installed, and 2) to examine the STRESS FRACTURE in which he retracted his original offer to replace, which was done through email of which he never responded to since August 3rd. Buyer BEWARE!

Lone star glass was a referral to me so I called to inquire about all fogged Windows to be replaced in my dining and living room areas. 6 Windows total. Jimmy Ramirez came out to measure and give a quote. He came Friday, told me I'd hear back early the next week. Then I waited. And waited some more, and to this day, two months later have not received a single phone call, an email estimate, a return call, or even an excuse after leaving four messages.

Over the two months I talked to two different people on the phone more than once each and was promised a call back. Then, after a month of looking at Jimmy's business card, I finally decided I would try one more time and ask to speak directly to an owner or manager. AGAIN excuses made for being busy and more promises made that I would not have to wait ANY longer, the owner would call personally (supposedly one of three brothers), I never heard anything. I doubt the owner even got the message. Bad business practices and I certainly cannot recommend.

Lone Star Glass is the go-to glass company for any window replacement needs. Twice this year, our yard guys had a rock from their weed eater launch and shatter windows. Both times, the windows broken were large, double paned & required custom ordered glass replacements. Lone Star Glass came out in a timely manner, measured and had the glass made (both times approximately a two week turn-around).

I received a phone call and the guys came out and installed the glass & cleaned up the mess perfectly. The technicians who came to work both times were extremely knowledgable and courteous. I will always use this company and will happily refer them to neighbors, family & friends.
