Fast and reliable service every time we called them. We have old garage doors and has needed some repairs. They are responsive, prompt and very reasonable. Chris is very nice to work with. Recommend to all.

The installers kept showing up to postpone their appointments. To make matters worse, they finally arrived to install and pulled up my garage door wall and didn't fix it.and all they r cared about is their money! Never again.

The garage doors were installed the height had to be modified to a correct height closer to ceiling. 1 door and the wire went off the track after 3 days After only two weeks of use, the motor on the second door gave out. They had to reschedule their visit to fix it twice. Both times, they cited mechanical problems with their truck as the reason for their tardiness.

Awful! They constantly rearrange their schedules! They have no clue about running a business. There is nothing else to say about anyone else but "TRASH." The best option is to deal with a smaller garage door service. Increasing their training expenditures is a necessary step.

In the worst possible way, they used subcontractors to do the installation, and four weeks after payment was made, they installed two posts into concrete with one bolt each, not what was agreed upon in contract, delivered the wrong door and wanted me to wait another four weeks. After eight months of litigation and a day in court, I was able to get my money back. A complete waste of time.

Requested the services of a garage door specialist. I explained to him the nature of the problem. The unit was unable to function. He didn't even bother to look at it before telling me. If you want me to install a new motor, I'll do it. I inquired, "Would it just be a circuit board inside the unit?" For him, a new motor would be more cost effective. The callout fee would still apply if he didn't want me to change it. Despite the fact that he done nothing to it.

I've used this company a couple times before. "Never again.no quality control whatsoever." Only useful for billing you. It dawned on me that the previous serviceman hadn't put the washers back on, and the chain kept coming off.

OD installed my 2 openers about 20 years ago, no problems, until this week. Called Chris, he asked me to take pictures of both mechanisms, working and not working. I texted them to him, he saw the problem, and he explained quick fix by me. Saved me having to pay for service!

Chris at North Shore just spent a bunch of time helping me fix my own garage door problem at no cost. You see, North Shore door installed my garage door 20 years ago. It's worked wonderfully until last week when the keypad, clicker and car transmitters all stopped working. I figured for sure something sizable was wrong and that it must be time for a new garage door.

So I made the call to North Shore Door to schedule a visit. When I called North Shore and explained my problem, Chris didn't tell me he'd be right out to check it out. Instead he spent 20 minutes on the phone walking me through what I could do to fix the problem myself. He even sent me a picture via text to guide me through the process. Game on. So I started working.

A bit into it, I texted him during a super frustrating step and shortly thereafter followed it up with another text letting him know I got through that step. Much to my surprise, he CALLED me to check in and make sure I wasn't stuck again. Thankfully his timing was great and the tips he gave me when he called helped me figure out the next piece and get the door working super fast.

With Chris' help, my garage door opener is back in business. All at NO cost to me and only with his help and support. Because as he said, "It's a good door opener and you'd hate to replace it or pay to have me come out and fix it if you can get it working on your own". When I do need another garage door, I sure as heck will get getting it from North Shore Door.

We had springs break on our garage door. Our garage door is 16' x 7 and very, very heavy and couldn't be opened by hand. Called North Shore Overhead Door and left a voicemail late morning. I received a call back from the owner within two hours and one of their service reps was at our house early that afternoon and replaced the springs. The owner asked me a series of questions to determine the spring was actually broken and that the service rep would have the right springs to complete the job. The service rep was knowledgeable, friendly, answered our questions and made quick work of the broken springs. Great service from this business!

Great service at an affordable price for our garage door repair. They were able to work our repair into their daily schedule, and made the repair on the same day we called.

I have utilized their services a few times over the past couple of years and they are fantastic to work with. They come out quickly to help and always show up on time. Not only did he fix it, he oiled my neighbors garage door because we used his electricity. The best part is that he was less then anyone else and did the best work.
