One of North America's leading manufacturers of fiberglass for windows and door frames for over 35 years. OmniGlass SCT's design systems and patents are at the leading edge of the fiberglass frame industry. Our products are a fit when quality, durability, insulation and environmentally friendly attributes top your list. We design and manufacture the highest quality fiberglass components for doors and windows, on spec and on time. OmniGlass SCT uses pultrusion, a process for the continuous manufacturing of composite materials, coupled with our proprietary entry feed technology.
Services
Compared with vinyl, wood or aluminum, fiberglass offers strength, durability and insulation in extreme weather conditions. Many architects and engineers have chosen fiberglass for their own homes and offices due to its performance. Composed of about 60% glass, fiberglass, like plate glass, has a very low and similar rate of expansion and contraction. This characteristic maintains an excellent seal in hot or cold weather with reduced movement of the frames relative to the plate glass.
Create a much higher glass loading due to our patented system, resulting in 50% higher-than-industry-standard material strength. OmniGlass SCT delivers the most technically advanced and highest quality Fiberglass components for windows and doors to markets across North America and beyond. Major producers are manufacturing larger windows and highly energy efficient systems with fiberglass.
Energy efficient frames have low conductivity that discourages the transfer of cold into a building. Fiberglass has a much lower conductivity than metal options; specifically, 500 times less conductive than aluminum. Due to its energy performance and longevity, fiberglass is often selected for Net Zero and LEED projects.
An innovative, patented technology, OmniCor is available to all OmniGlass SCT customers to increase productivity and reduce labor and material cost for the manufacture of sash and frame. OmniCor features automated clamping of sash and frame, then injects a rapid cure, self-leveling urethane to replace typical corner keys, thereby reducing labor/material costs and increasing performance. With OmniCor, cures to solid occurs in less than 30 seconds, allowing fabricators to fully assemble sash or frame in approximately 2 minutes.
