Over 10 years ago, Paramount Improvements made us a new living room window. The seal has had to be replaced three times in the last few years. This might not be an uncommon issue for windows, but the customer service is terrible. Specifically from Tom, the owner himself. He will not return phone calls. I have driven up to the office. The doors are locked.

This has been going on for a few years and Covid is not the excuse. After a year of me calling him, I had someone else replace the window pane. Recently, he left his business card on my door stating that he had my glass panel ready to be installed. I already had it done last year by someone else. I thought hiring a local company would be a good thing, but the customer service has to be there when people need help.

There is no excuse for this. Stop using Covid as an excuse. You are a business owner and a grown man. Phone calls should be returned in a timely manner and stop with the excuses. I will go with another company when I need something else. Do not ever give anyone a big down payment.

These people took $6k plus from my grandmother, Georgia Walker, who is 88 years old, in March of 2022. While she can make her own decisions, she is too trusting and understanding of companies, and these people have been taking advantage of that. I've called multiple times, and so has my mother, and they have been unresponsive. Today, 5/20/2022, I got them on the phone to ask about my grandmother's order, and they said the Winslow's would be here in another 3 weeks. Molly, the business owner's daughter assisting me, was cut off by some man in the background who said they weren't canceling the order.

They have taken my grandmother's money and are talking about 3/4 months before they do the installation. That is unacceptable and is unreasonable to think someone can go that long with broken windows in a home. They cited supply chain issues when mentioning that they would not cancel the order. Yet, other complaints indicated that in 2021 they expected to get materials quicker.

It is poor business practice and disrespectful to say that we had a set date where we could cancel our order yet could not get anyone on the phone. You cannot hold a customer to a set date and then allow yourself however long you decide to complete an order while holding on to someone's money. While they didn't have a set date to complete the services, 3/4 months is undoubtedly unreasonable to sit with broken windows and goes far beyond the scope of an estimated time frame. They are in breach of their contract, set date or not. They have been dismissive and refuse to hold themselves accountable for their lack of services.

I hired them to do a roof. I was promised to have it done by January 1st of this year.and now it's April with no new roof. I've left several messages with the office and the cell phone for the guy I signed the contract with and they won't even return a phone call. Wouldn't be a big deal if they weren't holding onto a decent down payment on the job and dodging the job!

Not real impressed with how unprofessional this company is. Update: 5-25-2022 The "owner" came to my house after my first post and said that I'd have the new roof the following week if weather permitted.well it's now been almost 6 weeks since his visit and I'm back to leaving messages that don't get returned even when asking for my down payment back.

Someone answered the phone 1 time in all the calls I've made stating I'd have a return call the same day which never happened. Really getting tired of watching my roof leak everytime it rains and getting no where with this company. Would just hire someone else for the job but can't without my $2000 they are holding onto. I understand that people don't want to work, as it was explained to me a couple of weeks ago.the solution would be take care of the contracts already in place with materials supposedly already cut and ready to install instead of helping others with new ones. Shouldn't take a year to take care of a "2 day job." May have to take legal action to get my money back.

Made a appointment for window estimate, . They called me back and we confirmed a time and date. Well time and date came and, nobody snowed up. I waited 1hr 30 minutes past our appointment time and called. Left a message and never got any response from them.very unprofessional on there part, I wont be do business with them.just stating the facts. I value my.money more than this.

So they called me 3 days after the appointment an said they had some family emergencies to deal with and ask to reschedule, so I politely give them a second chance rescheduled the appointment for a later time and date. Guess what they never showed a second time I'm only telling you about my experience with them I will not do business with this company you can make your own decision but I'm telling you it's very unprofessional on their part and I guess they don't need the business when they don't show up for appointmts they have called and confirmed. This is not my only residence and I am young enough to have multiple houses until the end of my life and I guarantee you this company will never see any of my business.

I had Paramount company replacement windows on the lower level of my home. They gave me a great price and they did a great job very pleased with the work and the contractors were very polite and respectful of the home.

I bought a house full of windows in 2008, with a 50 year Warranty Guarantee. In 2020 I have 1 window that has lost its seal and is discolored and compromised. I have called 4 times to date over several weeks just to get someone to return my call to No Availe. This is Bad Customer service. Tom Panek is CEO, or was, and I feel like the company needs to do better with treating the customer better After the Sale of the product.

Worst installation job I have ever seen. They had to come out and almost redo every window. Windows are still missing screens and the sales contact Tom has now stopped communication. Not what you would expect for professional installation and I would tell anyone looking for windows to seek alternate options. I have several photos and email communications I will happily share with anyone who wants further info on the disaster we experienced to help you avoid a similar situation.

They installed 12 windows and a sliding patio door for us 6 years ago. They were very professional and easy to work with. They did a Great Job installing our windows and when they were finished, they did an awesome job of cleaning up! We are now ready to have an additional sliding door put in and Paramount is the only company we contacted. Beautiful windows - Wonderful company.

Paramount used to be a good company, we had windows put in in our old house and they were great. We had windows put in our new house about 5 years ago, windows look great, but both bow windows leaked water terrible. Had to fight tooth and nail to get them replaced, finally replaced them, but windows were smaller than the ones originally put in and we had custom blinds put in so we had to fight once again to have them pay for them to be adjusted which they did but had to threaten to take them to court.

Now both bow windows are leaking water again, we have another window in our living room that gets condensation in both the upper and lower panels which need to be replaced. We have called and e-mailed them SEVERAL times and they will not respond to us. They say they have a 50 year warranty. I would not use this company again EVER! They do not stand behind their work let alone call their customers back.

Save yourself the time and headache don't call this place! We will probably end up in court over this, and I look forward to taking them there! We spent a lot of money with this company and their product is crap apparently! Tom the owner is useless and does not deserve to be in business!
