Unfortunately it's not possible to give less than one star. I see other one star ratings here and a common theme is that this company does not stand behind their products. So true, but it goes even beyond that. They are consistently unresponsive, even to people who have referred them business. Our architect, who recommended them, had his pleas to provide contractually called for services ignored with prejudice.

Keep in mind that each job this architect refers to them is potentially worth half to a few million dollars. Pretty dumb. We also had a professional management company attempting to deal with them to no avail. The amount of time spent trying to deal with this company, and this goes as high as dealing directly with their owner, was, in the end, completely wasted. Contractual obligations were ignored and then, a revised contract that was negotiated in a last ditch attempt to get them to complete and stand by their work, was also ignored.

They even asked for additional money that was not included in the signed final settlement contract. I could go on, but bottom line, there are a lot of steel door and window companies out there that probably do fine work and also respect their clients and do business in an honest and professional manner. Steer clear of this one.

I choose to Riviere Bronze for my steel doors and windows because they were a local company. Unfortunately my expectations are disappointing. We've had continuous problems since the insulation and the company has chosen not to respond to our request to fix the issues. I have one door that's completely jammed and is unusable. My front door which was custom built and designed is a huge disappointment. Riviera Bronze, Used their standard hinges on this door which are not capable of carrying the weight properly.

The door is very heavy to open and close. I'm afraid one day these hinges are going to fail and this 600 pound door is going to fall on someone. There is a half-inch gap under my front door and side panels. This is a gap that they designed in for some reason and have not addressed. My wine room door is very heavy and sticky. This company refuses to stand behind their product.

In building our house we chose Riviera Bronze because they are a local company and their price was competitive. Unfortunately! It's been a nightmare! They delivered nine months late. They do not stand behind their product. I'm having problems with a couple of their doors and they are not responding to our request to fix the problems. They did not engineer my front door properly and it's very difficult to open.

They installed their standard hinges that cannot handle the weight of the door. All I've gotten is excuses, not solutions. I highly recommend consider someone else for Your steel doors and windows.

I had an opportunity to tour the Riviera Bronze Window and Door manufacturing company the other day. I was amazed that I never knew about this awesome property and the beautiful work that is being done right here in Ventura. It is good to know that such precise and high quality work is still being made in the U.S.A.!
