Jeff Smoker grew up on a family farm in Chester County, PA. It was there that he learned the value of a hard day's work and the importance of integrity as a way of life. In 1987, after Jeff graduated from high school, he got a job working for an overhead door company, but it had been a dream of his to someday own and operate his own business.
Jeff started Smoker Door Sales in 1998. He enjoys the daily interaction with employees and customers. He particularly loves working as a team to accomplish something that none of them could do alone. Satisfied customers are his top priority. Jeff married in 1993 and has 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.
I wanted to automate a door on a historic barn without changing the original appearance. Smoker Door Sales worked with me on the design using my door & their mechanical equipment. Smoker's crew installed everything in a morning, (about four hours), and it works exactly as it should. We shopped around pretty extensively before deciding on Smoker Door Sales.

I recently had two new garage door openers installed last week. I called around to ten different companies and read many reviews. I went with Smoker Door Sales and I'm very happy with the service they provided. From the initial phone consult, all the way through completion, they were excellent. Quick turn around time as well. As part of a kit build, the contractor used Smoker to install the garage door. The installer did not properly torque the torsion springs and he also used the shortest sweep at the top of the brackets. The end result was that the cable fell off the pulley within the first week of use. The installer also failed to reinforce the header of the garage door opening.
When I contacted the contractor of the kit build, he spoke to Smoker and told me they'd come back out to fix the door. Truth is, I didn't want them touching my door again and paid out of pocket to address the issue with another installer. The new installer took the entire door off the tracks, used a larger sweep at the top, re-torqued each spring to the proper and balanced spec and reinforced the door opening. Now the door works flawless for several years no thanks to Smoker. They wasted my time and money and were childish in their correspondences.

Called for an appointment and the service tech came out a couple days later. He was on time, professional, friendly, and got about fixing our garage doors, installing new key pads and a lot of remote openers. He was in and out in about an hour. Would definitely recommend Smoker to friends and neighbors.

Great Sevice. Five Stars plus plus. Made a call for Garage door issues, they were able to have a Sevice Tech the next day. Todd the service tech came and was very Professional he explained what should be done and was Efficient in time Management in getting the task done. I can't say Enough how Very pleased I was. Smoker Door Sales installed two commercial grade garage doors for us at our shop. They did great work. Everything worked seamlessly. I called 6 months later to get an extra remote door opener. They stopped by at my convenience and programmed the remote opener. Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone
