We have shown off our new siding, doors and windows to many people, all received favorably. The crowning glory are the valences created by Kevin, because the ones I could buy were awful! They were installed on a Saturday. I just had to include a note to tell you how nice it was to work with you and all your employees.

GT and his crew have been great to work with! They aim to please the customer, they understand that what they do is for the customers enjoyment and satisfaction. They will do what it takes to help you achieve the look you are wanting even if it means reevaluation. We look forward to the finish of our project and other projects to come!

When we bought our house we had issues with seal failures in our windows. Sueppel's was the original installer. Called them and they stood behind windows and took care of replacing the windows under warranty (including the labor!). The crew was wonderful, worked quickly and cleaned up when finished. We had them back to do the siding on the our shed. Again the crew was great, kept the area clean and organized and the siding looks great.

I had Sueppel's push out the back of my house including the basement which I absolutely love! They were a joy to work with and gave me realistic expectations during the job. They truly went above and beyond after they dug the hole for the new section of foundation. We had a rainstorm and I hadn't even realized how bad it was until I found GT standing in the hole at 2 am in the morning with a sump pump on a stick draining the hole. That's when you know how committed they are to get a job done right the first time.

A few years back I called Sueppel for a minor deck repair job and replacement of a small piece of siding. I was told they were very busy and that the only day they could come out was the morning after we got back from vacation, so I said fine. A man came out and had a look, said he'd send a quote, and went away. This was June. And I waited. And waited.

And finally called to see if I was going to get a quote or even if he needed to come back and have another look, because he hadn't written anything down and maybe he'd forgotten what the job was. The woman I spoke to sounded irritated and said I'd just have to wait because he'd gone on vacation, and that I'd get a quote in August. So I waited. August came.

We roll through August. I call again. And I wait. And finally the quote arrives. $400. To repair a 10' deck railing and stick up a bit of siding which didn't even have to be replaced, just nailed back into place. After which they had the nerve to try me back and see if I didn't want to schedule the repair. No, I did not want to schedule the repair, not with people who'd blow me off for months and then quote me something ludicrous.

I hired a local handyman who (a) showed up on time knowing what the job was and ready to do it; (b) did the job and did it well; (c) did a long list of other repairs around the house -- toilet flapper, clogged sink, garden gate latch, garage trim, vaulted-ceiling smoke-detector replacement, replacement of all other smoke detectors in my house, doorbell fix, and a few other minor things that had been piling up -- and he charged me $330 for labor plus materials.

He also came in true to his quote -- under it, a little, even. I appreciate that Sueppel is busy, they do major jobs, and that they'd prefer to do a five-figure job. That's fine. But professionalism demands that if you don't have time to do the job, or you don't want the small job, you tell the customer so instead of stringing them along. And if you're really serious about the customer service and a good buddy in the trade, you'll also hand the business to someone who does do small jobs well, or recommend them.

Of course, thanks to their attitude about customer service, I now know an awesome handyman. So there's that. I see there's a five-star rating here -- maybe that person had a big job done. So maybe they're great if you've got a lot of work for them. I'd go somewhere else for smaller jobs, though.
