Now that we are spending an unprecedented amount of time at home, a screened-in porch can provide a little freedom, a change of scenery, from the front room or kitchen. A screened-in porch is a space that's connected to your home and fully screened, allowing. Your patio is perfect, but it needs just one more thing. Have you ever been sitting in a lounge chair, sun glaring down, wishing you could keep the breeze flowing, but turn the sun down just a bit?

My husband and I were once a contracting team for sunroom additions and remodeling. My husband Ted, or "Teddy, " did the installation and any repair work. I ran the office and customer service. We both helped with the design and look of the sunrooms and patios. We worked hard but retired young, especially for nowadays.

We first called another company with a similar name who is closer to our home. We initially thought that they would give us what we wanted. Then they became uncooperative. I called these guys next. Everything was great. The office planned Karl's visit. He arrived on time. We had our own ideas but made changes based on Karl's suggestions. Then we waited a while.
We called Karl back & signed the contract. I also phoned Karl once or twice for updates & suggestions. We were told that there would be a delay partly based on the required permit. Karl suggested a ceiling fan but we decided it wouldn't fit the lower roof required by the existing house roof. He suggested lights which we bought & they installed. I wanted the sunroom because it can be breezy where we live.
I want to put in a hot tub to relax my shoulders & I wanted protection in the cold winter. Everything they said was true. They were never tardy. Valerie in the office phoned multiple times with timeline updates. Miguel & crew came for the preparation & to pour the concrete. Very polite & responsive. He noticed that the patio was sloping in the wrong direction so water could pool.
He built a drainage ditch & covered it with attractive rocks. Alex & his helper Vadim built the frame. Also very polite & responsive. I nagged him with questions. He answered & explained. We were surprised that Alex added two additional lights not in the original plan. We are thrilled with the outcome. It is 15' x 17'. It looks much better than my photos. We are going to add our own flooring. California Sunrooms in Rancho Cordova would be our choice again.

Glenn and his team did a fantastic job with my patio cover installation. They were professional, construction was done to proper codes, and completed the job in 2 days. Glenn knows his stuff! I trusted his knowledge and expertise. He made sure I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommended California Sunrooms!

We wanted to express our thanks for the job well done to Joseph and his dedicated crew Peter and Elizeo. They did an amazing job from the start to completion of this project. Joseph went above and beyond his duties, always have suggestions and ideas to enhance the beautification of our sunroom. We are grateful for everything they did that now we enjoy looking at the fantastic view from inside of our sunroom.
This is one of the best improvements and investments we made to our house. We are so happy that a second floor sunroom out of our master's bedroom will be built soon. Of course we are choosing the same crew for this project.

From all of the estimates we received for our project, California Sunrooms gave us the best price. Therefore we chose them and had a sunroom, patio and concrete installed. We are very, very pleased with our choice. The entire crew, from Scott, who quoted us the estimate to each crew member who worked on our project had excellent customer service and took absolute pride in their work.
The owner also came out to ensure the job met his high standards, and to ensure that we were pleased with the crews and their work. The installation crews were very pleasant to deal with and their workmanship was outstanding. Everyone from the office staff(David and Wanda) to each crew member were very easy and pleasant to work with. Any concern we had was addressed immediately and appropriately.
Our sunroom and patio is excellent and the concrete with the retaining wall just makes it an even more peaceful, relaxing environment for us, our family and friends to enjoy. California Sunrooms did a great job altering our existing patio cover to fit our needs. The initial quote meeting was very thorough, and the person we worked with was very knowledgeable and walked us through all our options to make sure we had a full understanding of the pros and cons of altering what we had or building something new. They kept us well informed with the progress of materials and they were able to do the install quickly and efficiently.
And they didn't leave a mess behind! Such a great contractor experience, compared to many of the other experiences I've had with general contractors since buying my house. Would definitely recommend working with them.
