Highly recommended! Honest, professional, reasonably affordable, nice, and respectful people especially Chris Hughes and Steve. I love their one year warranty on parts and labor.

We had Liftmaster (don't make them anymore) installed by them in 2017. Started having issues 2021. They came to troubleshoot and used our ladder without asking. Replaced opener with Genie (2021) and different technician used ladder again without asking and he asked for our pin number for exterior keypad instead of letting us key number into keypad ourselves.

The salesman was very nice and responded quickly. When the installers installed 2 new garage doors, openers, etc., the cables tangled on one door within 24 hours when opening. It became stuck, we couldn't close the door, and it was 15 minutes after business hours on a Friday. No one responded to our immediate emails or phone messages. We didn't want to go the entire weekend with the garage door open, so we had to unscrew the coil assemblies on both sides to shut the door for the weekend (unlocked).

Even with the emergency release, the door couldn't close. The installers had also left approx.10 screws and bolts inside of our garage and I had to ask them to clean them up so car tires would not be damaged. Later we discovered metal cables and large garage door parts in the grass. They did not program the garage door openers to open both sides, but were in a hurry to leave. Virginia Door sent someone to fix everything on Monday, but the home office never called and apologized for the installer's incompetence. We have working doors now, but are disappointed in the whole experience.

Ordered very expensive custom garage doors for our new home. When installed the vinyl trim on the side of one door was torn. They said they would order a new piece and install it. 6 Months later.still no repair. Keep hearing its on order. 6 months? Really?

Our garage door ran rough and loud from the day we bought our home. It also wouldn't come completely down, allowing light, bugs, and critters in. Three of the rollers broke one day causing the door to get stuck in a half open position. I disengaged the motor drive bracket and rolled the door down. I called Allen with Virginia Door on a Thursday. I described the issue to him.

He said they were booked solid with service calls until 10Dec2020, but he would see what he could do. He called back later that day and said he could make it the very next day (Friday). He is actually a sales representative, but has enough skill to also address service/repair calls. He came out within the 2hr window given and replaced all 10 rollers with premium nylon rollers.

He also lubricated the panel hinges, cleaned the tracks, and adjusted the travel. The door runs smooth and quiet while coming completely to the ground. He explained the necessary routine maintenance process to prevent the issue in the future. Service call fee was $115, total invoice for repair with parts, labor, and fee was only $173. He noticed the springs were in a state of high stress and were "snaking", so he liberally lubricated them.

He said it may need to be replaced at a later date, so he gave me the make, model, and serial number so I could get quotes. This was refreshing as he gave me the ability to seek quotes from many different companies. I'll most likely go with them when the time comes because he also provided a quote for that repair $283 installed. Virginia Door is a great company.

Our new home came with doors supplied and installed by Virginia Door. The doors needed some very minor adjustments as we neared our 1 year warranty, and after a call to my builder, an appointment was made. The service manager showed up right on time (I called the morning of the appt. and was given a 2 hour window) and took great care of us. He answered all of my questions and made sure that all 3 of our doors were smooth, quiet and easy to operate. Great customer service!

Our garage door spring broke. We called another company (Not Virginia Door) and they quoted us $1280 to fix, the other company's salesperson also asked us to give them items we had stored in our garage. We had a bad feeling about this company so we called Virginia Door for a second opinion. Virginia Door asked us to send them pictures of the door, we did, they quoted is $245-$300 to repair. We agreed, they came by and repaired the door in 30 minutes. The cost was $275. Great experience. We'd recommend Virginia Door to anyone considering repairs.

NOT RECOMMENDED: VIRGINIA DOOR sold and installed a garage door for my mother-in-law a few years back and provided her with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. But when their repairman came to fix this warranted garage door, he said they don't do warranties and I should talk to their office. So I called their office and I am informed that the limited lifetime warranty is only good for a year. Huh?

For real? And that I should be calling and talking to the manufacturer (not them, Virginia Door, the seller and installer) to honor the warranty. Huh? Really? So I guess, this warranty on paper is exactly that - nothing but paper. Wow! What ever happened to the words HONESTY and INTEGRITY? Aside from not honoring the warranty on this door that they installed, they also gave a high quote to repair the top frame that had cracked, bent, and split.

I strongly do NOT recommend Virginia Door. I called a local Virginia Beach repair service person who gave me a fair and reasonable quote, labor and materials included; to reinforce, align, and adjust the garage door that bowed due to the cracked/split frame. This person also gave me his thoughts on why the garage door had split and cracked. It was quite posssibly due to a frame assembly that lacked or was missing structural reinforcement. This other service business gets my suppot. I support his local Va. Beach garage door service. He is fair, reasonably priced, and best of all, he is honest.

Got a garage door opener installed from Virginia Door; they were absolutely great! Customer service - technician, office, emails - were extremely professional. Price was very reasonable and even on the lower end than the norm. Got a courtesy call before the tech came out to instal the opener and he was quick, friendly and professional. I absolutely recommend them!

I called and told them we had sprung a spring. They helped me get them the info for a replacement and charged a reasonable price to replace it. Although they didn't make it out for the first appointment they were timely with scheduling a new appointment and David was courteous, efficient and did a great job getting the door fixed. I was grateful for his kind demeanor and would hire them again.

I called Virginia door because the bolts that attach my garage door opener to the door were missing. The person that came out and did the work also tightened up some other bolts on the door specifically near the door handle. The problem: it appears they over-tightened these additional bolts and now two door panels are too snug to each other and literally ended up cracking the aluminum skin of the garage door.

When we contacted them to come back and look at the problem we never received any call back, any feedback, or to the best of our knowledge anybody coming back to look at it. Seems it was easier to ignore their own mistake than the cost to now fix it. Update: The bolts they over-tightened have now popped and I have gaps between garage door panels. I may call another company.

They had to show up three times to fix the initial problem and charged an unreasonable amount for labor every time. The third time the maintenance man showed up was minutes after he left from the second time because the work he did failed and he blamed it on my wife. She pressed the button to close the garage door.

I had a garage door replaced on 10/23/2016. The sales person JP came out on 10-4-16 and took measurements and gave me a quote. He was very professional and took time to explain what would be included in the install. The installer was on time of scheduled install. He was very professional and had the door installed in no time. He made sure it operated correctly before leaving. Cost was exactly what was quoted. Overall I am very pleased with purchase.
