Our involvement in the lumber business began in 1982. We owned Great Bay Hot Tub Company in Newmarket, New Hampshire, and used high-grade, clear Western Red Cedar to manufacture wooden hot tub barrels and sauna rooms. We felt there might be an opportunity to distribute high-grade Cedar, Redwood and Douglas Fir lumber to the local contractors, and the idea of Selectwood was born.

We are especially proud of our factory trained Marvin Door and Window installation specialists. Our team can handle common home replacement doors and windows to tricky historical restoration projects. Our deck replacement and remodeling team can make any project look extraordinary. Whenever possible, first time customers are urged to visit our showroom and warehouse facility and meet our sales staff to get first hand knowledge of the products Selectwood offers.

The Eldredge/Selectwood Showroom is located in the left front section of our facility located at 275 Constitution Ave. Portsmouth NH. Showrooms hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday. We are also available to meet with clients during non-business hours for appointments.
