We recently purchased an apartment with 100+ year old steel windows (with as many coats of paint!). Working with the team from Seekircher Steel Window was an absolute pleasure. They literally restored all of the windows in the apartment back to their original state (stripping paint, repairing steel, replacing all panes of glass with thicker glass, and restoring all brass fixtures). We could not be happier!

Seekircher Steel Window did an amazing job restoring my pre-war casement windows! The owner himself came to inspect the job in advance, so his workers were prepared with the right equipment, tools and materials. They were on time, hardworking, polite and cleaned up after themselves meticulously. Most importantly, they did beautiful work and I now have operational windows again!

Seekircher specializes in the kinds of windows we have in our New York co-op building, which are steel casement windows. Todd came in and gave us an estimate and the final price was exactly as he said. The.crews were pleasant, efficient and clean, and most importantly, they did a great job! Our windows hadn't been renovated probably since they were new in 1929, but now they look new again. And they did it in less time than the original estimate.
In all, it took 3 weeks, and they originally said 3 to 4 weeks. They do quality work, show up when they say they are coming, and we felt confident leaving them alone in the apartment. It's a well run, top of the line company.

BEST. Assessed the needs of every window. If it needed work they did it, if it didn't they just performed maintenance and made sure it was operating perfectly. Please don't just replace your windows. After the very affordable (by comparison) work by Seekircher ours are good for another 100 years!
