Appalachian Garage Doors

Great Co. We ordered a new garage door for our new garage and within a week it was installed and looks and works as promised. From the nice lady in the office to the installer everything was perfect.

Wow, what an amazing company. James came right away. He was professional and detailed. James fixed one of our garage doors in November 2021. We liked his honest and detailed work so much that we called him again today (April 2022) for repairing a different garage door. He was fast, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend! It would be nice if he could take a credit card or Apple Pay for payment. Their invoicing system could use some updates.

Jim did a stellar job designing and installing our under deck system which prevents rain from falling through the upper deck around the perimeter of the house.it turned what was unusable space during rain events into outdoor living space rain or shine. In fact, it even allowed for a previously unused space to become a fantastic outdoor kitchen. The system has worked flawlessly, never a leak, for the five years since it was installed. Jim at Appalachian Doors was skillful at designing and installing the system.

Couldn't be happier with the results and we will continue to enjoy it for years to come. This is not a flimsy sheet metal system. It is steel panels that are rigid and sturdy. The understructure Jim put in to secure it was done professionally and with great craftsmanship. I highly recommend the system Jim offers. It's a great investment for anyone who enjoys their outdoor living space.

The door was installed previously by the original owner of overhead garage the overhead door worked perfectly for 10 years but when I needed service the tech did not know how to replace the electronic components, he said he would get back to me, bur never did. After several calls, they finally sent a tech out with a cheaper model and I did not mention the fact that I am 74 and the tech they sent was older than me.

The old man put a new motor in I, Imediately noticed it made much more noise because it was chain driven instead of belt driven.and it would only stop going down. The old man done a good job for someone his age when he left I only had one opener for a double car garage. I called about it, my call was never returned. Ps my door is broken again.

Was told by Home Depot that it could be 4-8 weeks to install motor and drive train! Appalachian Garage Doors completed the job in just 2 weeks whereas 1 week to order parts! Awesome service and Techs are very professional! Thanks

Very responsive! Returned my call in 30 minutes. The friendly voice who called told me they'd send someone out in just over an hour. Less than 30 minutes later, a technician was out and programming our three garage door openers. It was totally worth the service call to not have to climb a 20 foot ladder. Highly recommended.

Today I received great service from Appalachian Garage Doors, inc Today, Jan 25, 2021 i called Appalachian Garage Door Inc because the remote for the garage door would not work. I called this morning and talked to Jim the owner, i told him the problem and he asked a few question that lead me to believe he knew his business. My garage door opener is an old off brand that is not made anymore. Later in the day James came out and in a very short time had us up and running again. The price was very reasonable.

After pricing with other companies & getting references from people about garage doors We chose to go with Appalachian Garage Doors. We're very pleased with our purchase. The young men that installed the doors were truly professional. A family business & three of the sons installed the doors. We would recommend highly. Great Job from Great People!

I have recently built a house and moved to the North Georgia Mountains from Florida. I needed to purchase three garage doors. Two for the garage attached to the residence and then one for my shop that is not attached. After speaking with several of my friends that has already built and live here i asked about a garage door company in the area. They all said to use Appalachian Garage Doors.

They all told this company was polite and professional this company is for you. They told me that the secretary Tonya was just as sweet and professional and would bend over backwards to help. I contacted Appalachian Garage doors. When i called the secretary Tonya answered the phone. Tonya was able to answer all of my questions without hesitation and very professionally. Tonya was able to help me find the right garage doors that i was looking for. Tonya told me that it would take about three weeks for the doors to arrival. Tonya then stated that she would call me when they arrived and make a appointment for the installation.

Once the doors arrived, which was in the time frame that Tonya told me i received a call from her, stating that she needed to set up a time and date to have the doors installed. We agreed upon a date and time. On the date that we agreed upon i received a call from the installer James. James told me that he would be at my residence within the hour.

About thirty minutes went by and James arrived. James was very trained and professional. James worked diligently on getting the job done and done right. Communication was very well. Everything just like i was told from the time of the door arrival to the install. For the negative comments about this company that are on here i would have to say. Look within yourself on how you come across or treat people it could just be you. I have been raised to treat others as you want to be treated. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSIONAL COMPANY TO EVERYONE! VERY PROFESSIONAL!
