Window Openers and Ventilation Solutions from Rocburn

We have a sail boat with a beautiful teak butterfly hatch the only problem was opening it! Not anymore the winding brass window openers look stunning and make our boating life much easier, no more jammed fingers.

Great service from this company. Matt Boyd is the name you want. I needed a replacement window opener, and the ones on the Rocburn website looked right. So I emailed photos of my faulty one, and Matt suggested which one would do the trick, with advice about installing it. So I ordered that one. Then Matt went the extra mile, when the courier failed to deliver on the promised date, by emailing me to explain.

That made me feel special, and not just another sale. Anyway, it was easy to install, and now we can open the roof vent in our conservatory on a hot day again! Five stars plus plus plus!

After purchasing a vent opener for my new lantern roof I had problems with the actual functioning of the opener. The technical team and especially Matt Boyd could not be more helpful in providing solutions to resolve the problem. This ranged from verbal instructions over the phone to a comprehensive check of the control unit they had provided, back at the factory.

From a verbal description of the wiring to the unit Matt diagnosed that the fault lie with the electrician who had installed are unit and sent detailed instructions on how he should resolve it. I cannot recommend Rocburn highly enough on their product knowledge and customer support. Thank you.

Went in today for some help with a Necos problem and despite it being nearly closing time Ben took the trouble to check out my unit and then show it to me working and ready for it to be reinstalled. Great Support

Very helpful and personal service from Rocburn. First item ordered wasn't correct fitting and they were really helpful in discussing the alternative options.

I needed to replace a faulty window opening control panel and spoke separately with Ben, Adam and James. I found them to be helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and very patient! The price was excellent and the delivery was quicker than a ferret up a drainpipe. Can't recommend them enough!

So I had major problems with two windows in my house. They were impossible to reach and particularly in the summer when we were desperate to open them I would be climbing on top of kitchen worktops and storage cabinets. The only other solution was asking Spider-Man to do it. Now, in the absence of that superhero, the superheroes at Rocburn came to my rescue!

I did a lot of googling around and did find some window openers which one manual. As you can tell I'm lazy and I don't like climbing on cabinets kitchen worktops so I needed an automatic option. That's when I stumbled across Rocburn's website. Bingo! I found the AXA 2.0 remote opener. I thought that was the best part of it, but even better was there sales and support.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and helped me try to figure out a solution as best as possible. These are not the easiest to install on uPVC windows but not at all impossible. I managed to do it with a couple of steel brackets I bought from Wickes which I think we're actually for fencing which I then measured up to the length of the unit and with a bit of trial and error and measuring, I managed to to set the units so the unit opened and closed the window perfectly.

I was so proud of my achievements I genuinely thought, I need to give up the day job and go on dragons den with this bracket! Adam from Rocburn was incredible. I was in the middle of selling my house, building control wouldn't sign off unless we installed an AOV. I was in a huge hurry to get the work done before moving out and completing with little over a week to get it done. Adam at Rocburn went above and beyond to help me out. I ordered the AOV on the Friday, it was delivered by the Monday and Adam lined up an improved installer to come in and fit it by the Wednesday.

They removed my old velux, resized the opening, fitted the AOV and made good ready for the plasterer. And I received my commissioning certificate the very next day! how about that for service. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Their service and help, literally saved my house sale and also got me out of an immensely stressful and time pressured situation, I honestly cannot thank them enough. They were amazing!

From my initial enquiry, Adam knew exactly what I needed for an all inclusive smoke vent kit. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. Also, their prices are very competitive as I compared with a good few competitors. They were also much more engaging than the other companies i spoke with. Adam was very patient and understood the complexities of installing this type of product and spent a significant amount of time talking me and my guys through the correct installation process / procedures. I cannot rate them highly enough and very much appreciate Adam for all he did to get this window operational.

I can not think of another company that has given such outstanding service. I placed an order for an electric opener. Adam called to make sure I was happy with the order and took time to explain the workings etc. we decided that it would not work. he then sorted through a different approach and we had another chat and agreed that because of the type of window that would not work either. he was simply fantastic in working with what the customer - me - needed rather than go for a quick sale. if there were 10 gold stars to award it would not be enough. well done Adam.

When I phoned to ask for a quote, and they were able to come out that day to see in the site, the price is competitive. It was a pleasure dealing with Matt who was very professional and efficient. Rocburn have been absolutely brilliant. I decided to take my TV lift motor out of storage only to realise that many parts had gone missing. I spoke and dealt with Adam and James. I have purchased a window opening actuator from Rocburn as a direct replacement for one which had failed on our conservatory. Having researched several companies Rocburn were by far the best on price and delivered the product to me in double quick time! On receipt, however, I soon discovered that whoever had fitted the original had made a number of 'modifications' and the replacement did not fit well!

The guys at Rocburn are great, and with a couple of phone calls and pictures to show the problem it was explained what the solution was and extra parts were in the post! We now have a fully functioning automatic roof vent. Thank you James and Adam. Great service, I wish everyone that I have to deal with was as good.

Rocburn's staff have been excellent in helping me choose, install and calibrate the actuator for my roof vent. They even took the trouble to email me photographs to illustrate my mounting options and then speak to me on the telephone to talk me through set up. Outstanding service.

Really good service from the first enquiry to technical advise. Quite new to the AOV market but Matt was helpful all the way from suggesting the correct actuator to advise on standards. Would happily use them again for future projects.
