I ordered a custom wood door with the offered diamond pattern lead-lined glass. The door came in and was beautiful! However, once it was installed we have this horrible loud rattling everytime you open or shut the door no matter how softly you do it. When contacted multiple times, they told me that the glass is loose laid in between the lead stops and it will rattle. Their excuse is that this what their glass fabricator told them. I'm a contractor and have put in a lot of doors.
There should be some kind of glazing, tighter stops, or gaskets to hold the glass in place. Maybe the glass would have been fine without the diamond glass, but beware before ordering. FYI: Althouth they called their glass fabricator, M4L wasn't interested in finding a different glazer for me or solving the problem.
