Services
Temperature Control Films
3M window films reduce solar heat gain by up to 80% while maintaining clear visibility. These solutions lower HVAC strain and energy costs for commercial buildings and homes. Ideal for properties seeking improved comfort and energy efficiency without obstructing natural light.
Safety & Security Films
3M Safety & Security films strengthen windows against breakage and hold shattered glass together. This technology delays forced entry and protects occupants from flying shards during accidents or severe weather events. Particularly recommended for schools and high-traffic commercial spaces.
Fade Protection
Our films block 99% of UV radiation to prevent interior furnishings from fading. This solution protects valuable assets while maintaining unobstructed views. Commercial clients like museums and offices benefit from preserved interior aesthetics without relying on window coverings.
Decorative Privacy Films
Hundreds of patterned and frosted films transform interior glass spaces. These solutions provide privacy while allowing natural light transmission. Popular with businesses seeking branded glass treatments and homeowners wanting elegant room dividers without visual obstruction.
Bird Strike Mitigation
Patterned films make glass visible to birds while maintaining aesthetic appeal. This solution reduces avian collisions with commercial buildings while preserving architectural integrity. Complies with LEED bird collision prevention guidelines for modern structures.

The back of my house faces the south with no shade so several windows and a sliding glass door needed tint to protect my interior from the harsh sun. I also wanted privacy film on a set of shower doors. -Al immediately responded to my first inquiry. Was at my home within a couple of days to assess everything. He gave me suggestions and ideas and we chose the perfect option for my home. -His team was scheduled and arrived promptly.
They were very nice, professional and efficient. -It has been over 6 months now since the work was done and I could not be happier. -No problems, does exactly what it was supposed to do and I honestly forget that there is any film on the windows, but on those blazing hot and sunny days I am reminded of how awesome it is to have the film there to protect everything from the sun! - I recommend Akron Glass Tinting 100%. I could not be happier with their product and company!

Have had work completed by Akron Window Tinting as far back as the 1990's. ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, great results and they stand behind their work. Recently purchased a ground floor condo and with the 3M mirrored tint I have the privacy I desired and hasn't changed the aesthetic from the outside. I did the job in steps and each time the crew has come out, I have been impressed with their professionalism. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.
