This process preserves historical accuracy while improving energy efficiency through custom-milled weather-stripping and insulated glass options.
Wood Door Restoration
We restore wood doors by removing existing paint, repairing damaged sections, and replacing broken glass. Our process includes installing new weather-stripping, applying durable finishes, and fitting restored or new hardware. This service maintains the original aesthetic of historic doors while enhancing functionality and energy performance through modern materials and techniques.
Window Door Replication
For irreparable windows or doors, we offer replication services using custom designs that match original specifications. Our craftsmen recreate intricate details using mahogany or other appropriate materials, ensuring seamless integration with historic structures. This includes precision fabrication of sashes, frames, and architectural features to maintain historical authenticity with modern durability.
Storm Windows
Our non-obtrusive storm windows provide additional protection while maintaining historic aesthetics. Constructed from wood or aluminum, these units reduce air infiltration and improve insulation without altering the original window's appearance. They are designed to complement existing structures while extending the lifespan of restored windows through enhanced weather resistance.

Report
Renew Restoration built new windows for our 1929 home to match several original windows. The rooms finally look "right"! Thank you Mark, Joe, Jose and Jose for your skill, craftsmanship, and hard work! We also appreciated the cleanup between all phases of the job. We highly recommend this company for historically accurate windows. It is hard to find a company with this level of expertise and commitment to quality.
