We purchased our Marvin windows through Somerset last year, during COVID. I'm not sure if the company is short-handed, but the customer service is awful. We have had a few issues with our windows. Fautly buckling trim, missing screens (they were lost in their warehouse for 9 months!) that take 3+ emails over 5-7 weeks to get a response on; usually only after I ask if it would be better if I contact the manufacturer.
In businesses everywhere, people are busy, short-handed, and we're all dealing with delays on goods. It's the lack of response/customer service that has soured me on this company. I'd never use them again, nor would I recommend.

Ordered French Doors with stainless steel hinges. They installed brass hinges and gave us the stainless hinges in separate boxes. Our contractor had to reroute the hinge pockets at additional cost for the stainless, as they were thicker and the mount holes were different.

Amazing customer service and quality work! If you need new doors or windows and live in Santa Cruz this is your place. Quick turnaround too. I've bought multiple doors and had custom door frames made as well. Couldn't be happier with their service. Highly recommend!

Great experience! So nice to shop at a local Santa Cruz business. They sell beautiful products. The staff is knowledgable and helpful and generous with their time. In 1992 we fitted our home with their hardware and it still looks great. Now as we complete another project, we're so pleased to work with them again. Highly recommend.

Somerset is the best door place in the area. We were on the hunt for months for carriage style garage doors and the only ones we could find were faux. Somerset knew exactly what we were looking for, and quoted us a great price on solid, well made, beautiful custom doors. We are very happy with them and will be recommending them and using them again.

Somerset does terrific work, but you have to stay on them. I mean, you need to call every other day. My last door is still not complete after five months, and this is after being told it would only take a few days! Next time, I'll probably go with someone else.
